There are still spots open for new teams and commentators in the potential "No Bully Bowl" that's being thrown around. I don't want to put a date in place and block off specific dates until we know there's sufficient interest for a 16-team cup, so if you want to put a team in throw your name in here:

I've moved teams that have managed in an "official" cup to the backups section - people who haven't been involved or who were involved in VGL/Invitationals would still be given top priority.

If you feel like you wouldn't be able to make a team or you wouldn't know where to start, come to IRC or message me on Skype - the whole goal is to make people comfortable being involved.

I did a bit of looking around, and even though there are cup tags on MLP image sites, the average brony has no idea what the fuck the 4CC is and doesn't care for it. It's more likely that the extra users are ex-/mlp/ people who no longer visit /mlp/, but who still enjoy and follow the cup. The team is about /mlp/ the board, not MLP the show. It just doesn't appeal to the average derpibooru browsing brony faggot.

That's assuming the extra people are drawn in because of /mlp/ in the first place.

Thoughts on these settings? The stupidly high scorelines are still there to an extent, but IMO the AI looks a little more competent than what we had the chance to see in Summer. It's a small sample; if people are interested, I'll run more.

Please ignore the /m/ - /adv/ game; I felt like the game before that one was too pinball-y so I experimented with lowering the game speed, with pretty bad results.

I'm checking out the errors for /usa/, and I think some of the problems come from the goalkeepers having Destroyer. The AATF seems to think they're midfielders and because of that it freaks out over the all-80 stats. Should I give them something less meme or bring them down to 77?

I already mentioned this after the last winter cup, but the reason of my retirement is a massive lack of time in the foreseeable future. and I don't believe in throwing an export at the last minute and then let the autopilot do the rest.

You can see the stadium as a farewell gift of sorts. I wanted to make a new stadium for /vr/ ever since I got my hands on the blender stadium tools. The fact that it took me so long to finally get something done is proof of my lack of time since then.

Also, I want to mention that I have talked to a prospect new manager for the team. There is nothing certain for sure, but don't write /vr/ off as perma-ded just yet. Nevertheless if anyone else is/was considering stepping up I recommend and encourage doing so pls.

They're all based off of stuff posted on /f/. By basic I mean just anime girls from different shows so I could tell you the characters or link you to the flashes.

First you export model from the game as .obj using special plugin that can be found on hongfire, then you import .obj file into blender, getting rid of unneeded parts.
As for texture, you need to combine face texture, 2 hair textures (or more, if you have additional hair other than front/back), eye, eye highlight and eyebrow into hair_parts_col.dds
I'm using 2048 square transparent canvas, it usually enough to arrange everything.
Some textures got slightly different duplicate variations, so pick the ones that got the correct colour.
After arranging UV map, combine everything into one mesh by selecting everything in the top right window, then pressing ctrl+j while your cursor in on the 3d view window.
After that import existing head/hair with pes tools, use it to scale and adjust the new one.
Select all of Hair_2 in the edit mode, press delete and select "verticles", now combine new mesh with Hair_2 just like before. Don't delete anything or it will all die in pain.
This usually works but sometimes blender spergs out during export. If you can't export it, and errors are telling you nothing useful, delete everything except hair_2, rename it to something and import/export it as .obj and try again, this time you don't have to bother with UV map and scaling.
