You can bring your personal vehicle with you on deployment, they get transported with you on the deck of a carrier. I brought my 01 camaro to Germany with me and at the end of my deployment I found out I could sell it for 2x what it was worth stateside while ignoring import fees. That truck probably came over with a marine to Okinawa.
