We got some people to stay on but we were always understaffed. You'd think with such a big unemployment issue china has, people would be thankful for a job. fuck
any of you bros ever had milk come out of your nipples?
Juan Butler
Man, I wish we had Pontiac Fiero's and other cool cars from USA
Tyler Davis
>fiero >"cool"
Aaron Gonzalez
My cousin used to work for Holden and still gets a discount off of them. we're talking $10-15k off
Think I should go for one of the new commodores? they seem very feature packed.
I would be going for the base model if I were to go for it? sedan or wagon?
Kayden Moore
whatever you do, get a manual no matter what, you'll regret an automatic
the VF wagons look pretty bitching, one of the first wagons i actually like the look of, but the sedan looks great aswell, so its up to you sedan or wagon, it depends on what you'll use the car for
Owen Price
well reasons why I was thinking of a wagon was
I was originally looking at getting a jap hothatch
Long term seems handy as I plan on keeping this as long as possible and hopefully will be my only car purchase
less hoons will annoy me or want to Steal my daggy wagon
shorter in length
Bentley Collins
Fully loaded sv6 wagon sounds pretty gud to me
Anthony James
i believe the VF will retain alot of its value based solel on the fact its the last Australian RWD commodore, and having it manual will always keep the resale high
at the moment the VF isnt a hoon or bogan car, but it will eventually. But by that time theres going to be heaps of VF's at the scrap yards and the jap cars you wanted will be $500 and driven by neglectful car owners
The wagon is worth less than a sedan, always. but the wagon has good shit hauling space and not going to be as hooned out as a sedan so less bogans will hound you about owning a wagon. Its also better for towing than a jap car
what is your criteria anyway? what do you need it for? im obviously commodore biased but if its just an A to B get around its not worth it
Dylan Sullivan
>what is your criteria anyway? what do you need it for? im obviously commodore biased but if its just an A to B get around its not worth it
basically will be an a to b car that is a bit faster when need be
Dominic Wilson
id most likely just be getting the evoke cos cheaper
Ayden Clark
not worth it unless your getting an SS also the wagons don't come in manual
Kayden Scott
not worth what?
getting a wagon or a Commodore in general for a to b driving
Eli Sullivan
do anyone of you have the fear of body roll? I had mine after powerslided on a ramp connects from one highway to another. Since then I'm just too afraid to corner hard, which makes me drive slow on mountain roads. How can I overcome this fear? >getting another car is not an option yet
Bentley Harris
>good condition japspec 260z on gumtree for 9k Someone buy it
Easton Allen
It's about 3-4k overpriced
Gavin Bell
ive done it in v6 falcon dont bother get an rsa and work bars, delivery is the worst thing you can do. when you factor in fuel, increased repairs youre often at less than 15/hr

Joshua Carter
got my first car.
what cleaning products and tools do you guys recommend
like what detergent, mitts, shammy etc.
so far I have a pressure washer from Salvos which seems to work
Thomas Ramirez
cleaning tools? the generic fathers day bucket everywhere is selling atm should cover for a while.
tools, screwdriver set, allen key set, socket set. even the cheap stuff lasts pretty well these days, replace or expand as needed
Jace Price
just rub your cum into your car with your hands
she'll be right
Christopher Davis
any particular brands or products for the mitts , shammy and detergent?
Brayden Baker
>what detergent car soap. not dish soap. more expensive does not mean better.
>mitts anything works. the less fancy it is, the better. keep it as clean as possible, don't let it touch the ground. a soft brush is even ok, as long as you keep it clean.
>shammy it's chamois. use "the absorber" brand. cheap, available, works well. store slightly damp. keep it clean. don't let it touch the ground.
>I have a pressure washer Overhyped, not required. can even do more harm than good. just be careful with it. high pressure water is not a direct replacement for just wiping by hand with soap.
Jeremiah Hill
My uncle had one that had been converted to rhd, they're around. He just thought it was "fucking shit"
Eli King
i find just having a really big shammy convenient. i use the big sponges you usually get in 3 packs, but im not really picky about how clean my car is aslong as its not filthy
Jack Gutierrez
how horrifying and beautiful
Jonathan Turner
VS to VY V6 Commodore, possibly a NA MX-5 if you want something easy on the fuel pump.
Caleb Hernandez
Alright cunts, regarding yesterday's thread;

Man I'm salty I didn't buy that Crown Vic taxi for $3k a year or so back. I could've rented it for Thor. I'm looking at these clips on the news and shit and I recognise some of these vehicles from Sydney based companies. I saw a 90's model in there too. Can you imagine that, hailing a cab and it's 25 years old. That was the reason I could have got this car so cheap, because the guy figured nobody would want taxis/cop cars that old.
Gabriel Peterson
Fuck man I remember telling you back then to buy it. If I were in Sydney I would have bought it in a heartbeat.
Chase Martinez
It's on the Gold Coast. I was holding out because I wanted a black and white one and knew they're out there, and painting is fucking expensive. This particular company HAD a few in black and white but Movie World bought them up. Some of them were in San Andreas.
I was looking at some in Sydney years back that were in the Superman film. Would not surprise me if they were the ones in Thor. If they have one of those big New York blue/white buses, that's where it came from.
Aaron Davis

Wyatt Wood
there was a CL valiant a year ago that was a good solid runner with no rust for $1000 only up the road from me, im fucking beyond salty i didnt buy that at the time
i know your feel

Anyone here ever had a radiator professionally opened up and brushed clean?
Trying to get an idea on cost for a clean before calling around for quotes
Eli White
I used to deliver pizzas in my MX5. $22/hr for an 18 year old wasn't bad
Henry Richardson
Speaking of this, what's probably the average wage for a 23 year old? I'm finally leaving the NEET life and found a job but I didn't want to be a cunt and discuss wages at the interview.
Adam Watson
Depends on the job. I'm 24 now and Earn about ~$950 a week.
What job did you get
Samuel Perry
>a radiator professionally opened up and brushed clean Jesus Christ wtf. I've never heard of such a thing. Sounds like a nightmare. Maybe that's why everything gets replaced nowadays
Aiden Perez
apparently they pull the sides off and shove a long ass brush through each core, if I flush it out and it's still pumping shitty water around then it might be cheaper for a clean instead of a new radiator if that is what is dirty
Noah Bell
Location is a big deal. And industry. I'd expect 30k a year minimum if full time.
Jack Morris
Uncrimp the end tanks Blast it out New orings Crimp
Jordan Ward
im 19 and i work full time earning 18 bucks an hour as a storeman
i wish i specialised, you get better paying jobs that way
Brody Fisher
When you say crimp, what do you mean exactly, I've never taken much notice of the side panels on a radiator

Joshua Richardson
>tfw no shed/garage
Cooper Smith
Protip for the kids playing at home, clean the inner ring of debris, the first cut should be .3mm, the second and final cut should be .2mm. You won't need another unless the run out is massive (but you should have replaced the rotor if its that bad).
Perfect rotors every time.
Im working with a single car garage at home now, i've got no room anymore.
Work Bench Shelves Beer Fridge 2 Motor Bikes Gear box Engine stand with block Head on the floor Torn down bike motor
Austin Wood
Quick question, I asked this the other day but who cares
How hot can a iron block and head be before it's unsafe to run tap water through it?,
Luis Bennett
Not really sure man, The whole cold water fucking blocks thing though is something I've never seen and have only heard about it because a friend of someones friend once knew a guy who fucked his motor doing it.
Bentley Cook
Look at a radiator
Brandon Moore
so if I ran my engine to about a quarter way on the temp gauge I'd be right to pop the thermo and throw the hose down it? I don't want to turn and engine flush into an engine swap
