AE86 vs MX5

daily reminder that miata uses double wishbone suspension

meanwhile AE86 has a fucking live axle
pathetic

if we are going be the japanese market editions then the M2 version miata was significantly quicker than the toyota

That's a pretty bad argument since those are rare limited editions fitted with aftermarket parts.

>inferior cornering ability
>zero camber angle gain when cornering
>meme

yeah, right

please see
it was mazda made, before they established mazdaspeed brand

the m2 is fitted with HKS parts. Just because mazda employees fitted them doesn't really make it a "stock" miata does it.

are you going to dismiss BMW M3 breaking capabilities because they use brembo brakes?

A small team of guys taking stock miatas and bolting on hks parts is completely different.

The bmw m3 is a mass produced vehicle and most cars use a transmission made my an outside supplier.

supposedly 300 were produced
it's not "small team of guys taking stock miatas and bolting on hks parts"
it's a short production run

the fact is that mazda produced an NA miata that was faster than the fastest AE86

pretty pathetic for such a "legendary" and "race heritage" car to be not only out-handled due to superior suspension but also be slower than a measly miata

>it's not "small team of guys taking stock miatas and bolting on hks parts"

But that's exactly what happened. They took 300 stock miatas, took them away and modified them.

If you actually think mazda changed the miata production line for 300 cars I don't know what to tell you.

>pretty pathetic for such a "legendary" and "race heritage" car to be not only out-handled due to superior suspension but also be slower than a measly miata

classic "uh uh it doesn't count"
the fact still stands
nothing stopped toyota form releasing a faster version of their shitbox

it's not shitposting when it's the truth
posting a meme picture won't invalidate it
