None of which would have applied with the tzar in power. If you read Mein Kampf, Hitler praised Romanovs for being of good Germanic stock and for hating the Jews. Hitler not only would not attack an imperial Russia, they would've been allies!

Pretty sure Hitler came about due to revanchism and the French being total dickheads. The only difference would have been Hitler having to face both France and Russia simultaniously, and Russia being more weakened.

Pretty sure though that it was in Hitler coming to power that he ignited bouts of revanchism in the germans and enforced the myth that the french had been too harsh (even though there were very flexible with the terms of the Versailles treaty in Hitler's reign, and aside from when they occupied the Ruhr, were flexible too about the payments).

What had Hitler win was the luck he had in that corporations entrusted him to counter communism, and that the brown shirts patrolling the streets for the nazi party gave germans a sense of organization they hungered for in a time of debt and hyperinflation.

Germans had more problems at that time than to care for avenging themselves.

Russia would still be poor and tyrannical, but it would be more open to the rest of the world boosting growth, ending child labor and all the other things the communists boast about would have happened anyway as they did elsewhere in the world. They would be friends of Britain and France and reconcile with Poland and Finland, maybe even grant the Ukraine autonomy. The Tsar would restore the Duma and move towards constitutional monarchy like his relatives in western Europe as he had been doing before ww1. Objectively the world would be a better place.

Here's a quandary. What if Lenin was only meant as a temporary solution to the Eastern Front problem that survived on because Germany was brought to her knees?

Let's suppose that Germany has won the war on the Western Front (or at least forced a favorable peace so I don't trigger all the Nigel's) Would Germany then turn around and destroy the fledgling communist provisional government?

The fact that about half of the anons assume that the russian Revolution was a dort of Duell between tsarists and bolsheviks shows how unfactual this Board has become. There was never a realistisch Option that the Romanovs ever came Back to Power or another dynasty would have been Installer. I think you mean the whites, and if it happened Europe would be 100x better. Maybe there would not be a space race and all the other good thinks that came out of the cold war, but WW2 if it even happened would had a more satisfying result (nazis still wouldn't have won if it came to that since Russia's industrialization was inevitable) and Eastern Europe would be MUCH better since it would be under a mediocre version of western capitalism rather than stalinism and probably many more liberties than it had ever seen.
