The fedora is the new religious awakening my kin.

There was one in the 00's

Religion can only exist in the gaps of human knowledge and those gaps are shrinking.

steppe 2 nilled abramatism /w Atilla & Baghdad

its frankly embarressing & i think "democracy" will do the rest

Didn't people think the same in the 1700s? The 1800s?

You highly underestimate the need for people to have a reason to wake up in the morning

Most of the world leads very mundane lives of repeating the same shit over and over. Religion gives people the opportunity to be part of something and to feel special. Religion also doesn't need to explain complex ideas to people thus is more accessible than science that most people won't pretend to comprehend

The 22nd chapter from the Book of Genesis, beginning at the 13th verse:

>And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.

Amen.

Not everybody in the world can be perfectly up-to-date. And I would guess back then that there were trending philosophies to just ignore the problem of being, which gave the impression that they were closer than they actually were.

>picture is what happens when mankind is united under a fedora
>they just worship the master fedora as a god

The 18th chapter from the Gospel according to Matthew, beginning at the 3rd verse:

>And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Amen.

>That will be a 10,000$ admission fee sir.

I'm not an atheist.

>this is the answer he went with

Catholic here. The correct answer was
>"Yes, and religion has been steadily declining since then. Periods of increased religious fervor are the exception, not the rule. Such periods are also usually a response to calamities and disasters beyond the common man's control, and events such as those should decline in frequency as time goes on."

Fedoras are so pitiful, they can't even come up with a decent argument to save themselves! PATHETIC FIGURES.

It may be unexpected, but at some point there'll be another one.

But tithing is voluntary in Christianity and mandatory in Scientology; how are the two related?

Yes.

He knew pagans wouldn't last in pre-modern society so he wiped them out. Now that we have ~le progressive 21st century people don't give a shit what you believe.

Iceland just built a public temple to the Norse gods.

Islam will dominate Europe. European countries will adopt a "reformed" Islam and in 1000 years stupid LARPers will be assblasted when someone remind him that Europe was Christian.

Iceland is just a meme country, with meme politicians like the comedian and punker Jón Gnarr. What they do shouldn't matter.
