>add turbos to make up for V6 power >engine is overheating, delay production model several years to fix it >add 3 electric motors >add batteries to power them >add heavy dual clutch >add carbon fibre to offset massive weight >still heavy but now costs 200k >has no soul or driver involvement left because there is a dozen layers of technology between you and the road >get beat by a Mustang with a manual and a V8
When will Germans and Japs learn that simple is better?
>new NSX was faster than the 2017 GT-R so Nissan got fucked as well
The GT350R in this test had the tech package, which adds nav/aircon/radio/voice control
Mason Bailey
Agree. Simple is better. Why do you think noone wants a 24 valve Cummins. They're gay. More electronics. Everyone wants a 12 valve nowadays cuz they go like 800k miles before shitting the bed. They're great trucks.
Aaron Jackson
There is literally already a thread on the GT350...go there.
Daniel White
He knows. He used my screenshot from that thread.

Kek...so pathetic shitposters

MX-5, Cayman and MR2 are all stripped down to basic cars with little to no extra bullshit and all of them are extremely fun to drive. If Elise came with aircon and a little bit softer suspension and a little bit less Lotus "craftsmanship", it would be the perfect daily driver.

I think the new mustangs are sexy

The Camaro SS 1LE was as fast as the M4 GTS on street-compound tires. No complaints of overheating this time like the Z06. I'm a huge Fordfag and find the Voodoo more charismatic than the Chebby OHV V8, but I find this really impressive. Z28 should curbstomp unless they make it supercharged.

>When will Germans learn that simple is better? Funny thing that you mention it since gts isbest bang for buck for now.
Hudson Edwards
>best bang for buck for now. in what? not shitposting i'm genuinely curious.
How can anything Mercedes, Audi or BMW be best bang for the buck when the whole purpose of those badges is to charge you more so you can look down on others for buying the "cheap" alternatives.
Benjamin Russell
why can't you de-electrify a 24v?
Eli Wood
>get beat by a Mustang with a manual and a V8 seriously? Beat? The cars have the same time. 0.25 seconds is less than the variance per lap an F1 driver could put in.
Jonathan Thompson
You can, I've done it. But it basically makes it a 12v. We fitted a 12v head, 12v timing case and (absolutely fucking terrible) lucas CAV pump to a couple of 24v b series just to make up numbers in a bunch of re-powers we were building when we couldn't get enough 5bt5.9 crate motors. You wouldn't know from looking at them, there's just an extra pole-wheel bolted onto one of the crank counterweights. They don't idle well because the lucas pump is meant for a marine application but also a hell of a lot cheaper than a bosch VE.
Sebastian Moore
The Mustang still technically won. And it's less than a third of the price
