Can't decide between dagumi stang or grandfather's...

The newest one, obviously.

fresh from this morning.

Mine's on the right

Fucking mouthbreathers on this board can't tell that it's a Mustang fascia shopped onto an E30.

Everyone knows. Only newbie teens point it out

To be fair, first gen Mustangs are pretty light too, as are SN95s. Assuming a good, all OEM car to begin with the first gen will need more shit upgraded to be fast meaning more expense and it has a worse crash rating. In reality though a slightly rusty one you just buy to fuck with will be less likely to break apart than a third gen in the same condition and if it actually is all-original you'll be paying a premium for that. It's all pretty subjective, not just on the surface by your personal aesthetics (most people prefer the 1st gen's looks) but also deeply, based on what you want to get from owning them both in the short term and long term.

But yeah, first and third are the only ones currently worth owning. Time will tell if the newest ones are worth it after depreciation fully sets in but it seems to me like GM has made a better pony for nigh on 20 years now.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS MY FRIEND

...

Newest models are nice but they feel too try-hard.

Aesthetically I think the 2005-2014 models are best.

The current one. The lack of independent rear suspension all those years was awful.

SN95 (94-95)

I loved mine.

>Foxbody

Reminder that the only good Mustangs are 64-69 and 94-98.

you forgot the 2003 & 2004 cobras, autismo.

>New Edge

gtfo

the 03 & 04 cobras were L I T E R A L L Y the best fucking mustangs ever made

try to prove me wrong

>protip: you cant!!!!11!!!!1!!

yeah objectively

but I dont care about that

Terminator swapped Bubblestang is best but I dont guess it counts do it

>foxbody is trash
>sn95 is good
I got some bad news for you, user

what

that the SN95 is just an updated Fox platform?

Bubblestang doesnt look awful like the Foxbody and it has some much needed improvements to the chassis

Ill admit that the 82 GT gives me tingles tho

>some will say its fake

Holy fuck this is amazing.

>thinking this was a good mustang

Lmao I knew that image looked weird, thanks

>did you mean the ford escort 2 door.

Has a nice A S T H E T I C to it

I love how everyone is talking about the Mustang while the car in the OP is 95% 3series and 5% Mustang

B8 wasn't good enough m8

>mouthbreathers
What did he mean by this?

>94-98
lmfao those don't even look american, you could mistake them for a jap car

You say that like it's a bad thing.

the Original Mustang looked European
68-73 I would say look American
the Mustang II took Euro cues
the Foxbody looked like a Euro shitbox
the SN-95 looked Japanese
New Edge on look American

wtf that pic looks like utter shit m8

looks like some Honda culture took that sn95 over

I will always have a soft spot for the S197 Bullitt mustangs. I have always thought they looked and sounded excellent.

...

>wtf that pic looks like utter shit m8

no

>looks like some Honda culture took that sn95 over

its beautiful

kek

I like these, is that bad?

I'm not an American, so newest gen is best because Aussies can actually buy it, then genwun, then whatever series that had IRS. SN95 Terminator wasn't it?

>four-eyed foxbody
>badass performance

more like ass performance

early 80s foxbodies were the second worst performing Mustangs after the Mustang IIs of the 1970s

The performance started to get back to somewhere respectable after 1986 when the malaise era ended.

Best Mustangs are the 64-73 era, followed by the 2015-now ones and the 2005-2014 ones after that.

>more like ass performance
I shouldn't find this so funny but I do, thanks for the keks user

>Best Mustangs are the 64-73 era, followed by the 2015-now ones and the 2005-2014 ones after that.
Agree with this one, the originals have the best looks and a massive aftermarket. Current ones won't kill you on the toegay and have a decent interior finally. SN95 could also handle but I woudln't trust it anywhere curvy that isn't a track.

See, this is exactly why I don't like people who dislike malaise era cars. They're perfect starting points for making something sweet for really cheap. There is a metric fuckton of aftermarket for turd gens and foxbodies, yet I cannot think of any other two cars that are more relentlessly shat upon. They have low ratings from the factory, but now that almost all of them are 25, if you don't live in commifornia, you can make them make closer to what they should have fairly easily. Drop the cat, slap on a 4 barrel, advance the timing, and if you're really into it, a more radical cam. Just those will bump up these cars to more respectable power ratings in the 200s, and everyone forgets they actually had pretty good torque from the factory.

If that's not enough power for you, they're also stupidly easy to swap since they're not new enough to have a bunch of computer fuckery to deal with, and there are tons of people making bolt on kits to ls swap third gens or 302/351/4.6 swap foxes. Bear in mind that these cars also have much more chassis development than their pigfat earlier counterparts that boomers love so much, so once you throw in something with comparable power they'll absolutely destroy one around a track.

This

no such thing as an sn95 terminator

New Edge are still SN-95s.

>Best Mustangs are the 64-73 era

For looks. Drivetrain and brakes and suspension are long obsolete but easy to replace.

I think these are the best looking desu.

I think the front looks good. The last quarter from the b-pillar back looks chunky and ugly, especially the tail lights.

Had one, was fucking fun as all hell.

>The last quarter from the b-pillar back looks chunky and ugly
agreed
I like the taillights though.

Why is this thread still there.

Because some faggot keeps bumping

t. GM shills

Get on my level.

It's a Cobra, innit ?

lmfao truly worst gen

2011-2014 Mustang 5.0's

1973 Best Year

I mean seriously. Look at that Landau top! The length of the hood. There must be something mighty under there.

Either E30 or E21. E36 already looks void of personality.

This is the best looking modern-ish Mustang
I like the first gen too, though.

t. Yuro

Fastbacks looked amazing.

They should've adopted this rear end during the 2005-2014 era

2004 Cobra and Mach 1
2010-12 GT500
