Yeah, the European ones are annoying to deal with unless you have a heated gay-rage. But then parking outside in the winter could also be an issue.
Toyota makes okay, reliable engines and so do most domestic US companies. However, nothing beats an old, simple design with the least amount of sensors and/or computer influenced hardware. Less shit to go wrong besides frame rust.
