Yeah it's also good if your batteries to last a year or less. People in the RC world have been dealing with these issues for along time. When you use your batteries like capacitors they don't last very long.

It probably also has a lower dust to dust environmental impact.

What do you think happens to the internal resistance of a battery as you increase the charging current? What impact do you think that has on the current required to charge the battery and what other side effects do you think it has?

There is significantly more embedded CO2 in a BEV, large scale fossil fuel use to generate the electricity to charge them and the efficiency chain from chemical to kinetic energy is much longer and filled with low efficiency transformations. Go and perform a life cycle analysis on a Tesla and an equivalent say BMW and you will see the "Electric cars pollute less" simply isn't true, it is a very convenient lie for those looking to move the global energy base away from oil rich nations (the middle east) to coal rich ones (the USA), but we are moving away from the engineering facts into geo political speculation there.

Also, electric cars pollute more or less depending on what country they're being used in. In places such as the U.S, Europe that have adopted renewable sources of energy they pollute FAR less.

at that point, tailpipe emissions can be negated by infrastructure changes encouraging people to stop driving literally everywhere
