...this and it sells like hot cake
GM pulling out of Europe completely?
europe here. trump should put the same tariffs on our manufactures importing to the US that we do on US cars coming here. even it out.
I wanted to like the A class, I really did.
The one that was like an inbetween of the old style and the new was good. It was boxier. they never sold it in the US.
Isn't Opel one of the main sources of R&D for GM? Like, don't pretty much all their FWD cars use Opel platforms?
It'd be incredibly stupid to sell Opel off, since it'd pretty much ruin their econobox R&D capabilities.
>incredibly stupid
>GM
pick two
overall i'm worried about opel joining the PSA group since peugeot and opel basically have the exact same market, but it's probably still better than being part of GM
Yeah, PSA already consists of two brands occupying basically the same market slot, don't know if it'd be a smart move to add a third.
Then again, PSA has plenty of experience in said market so who knows, maybe they'll do some cool shit. At least we're not talking late 2000s PSA here.
this will sell alot in the US and Mexico
they're going for the chinese market
currently GM sells more cars in China than in the united states and europe combined
Mercedes are too noble to lower themselves to building dogshit image trucks. They'd rather build actual utility vehicles.
China loves Buicks, and Buick's lineup contains a lot of rebadged Opels. Not just Opel platforms, no, straight up Opel rebadges.
