Conclusion: If you want something slow, heavily armored, and that has a 128mm gun- buy the fucking Ferdinand. It's actually enjoyable to play and useful.
I just hope the Maus gets better once I'm able to afford all of the equipment and once it gets buffed.

Why would you buy it before the change? You'll still have it unlocked when they switch the lines whether you buy it or not.

I wasn't sure if my research would stay on the Maus or be pushed to the new VK tier X so I bought it before just to be sure.
Already have XP building up on the Tiger P for the new branch-off.
I'm hoping I've just had a few terrible game and teams and that the tank is really not that bad. I've played British heavies so the speed isn't a problem. The problem is just how I take tons of damage and get none sent out in return.
