The way to fix this is to put in a big American V8, and bigger meatier tires
unfortunately that wont fix the fucking tailgate of a rear bumper, the only thing about mk2 supras that I hate.
Beams 3sge would be the best swap for one of these. Tons of room for a fancy turbo setup.
Oh yes a 1JZ/2JZ is an obvious swap.
I honestly didn't even think about a 1UZ. I should probably look into that, but if I'm putting a V8 in I feel it should be a "MUH V-ATE" type thing. I want something raw.
>3000lbs
>light
???
That's retarded.
A 1JZ swap is what the MKII needs.
A 7M, at best, makes 300hp. Even a barebones 5.3 Chebby will make more, and that'll be lighter, have better throttle response, and yes, it'll be less lazy because it actually has the power to accelerate. It might even improve handling because it isn't an iron block inline six with a snail, with weight in all the wrong places.
I'd say a 1UZ would be a bit underpowered for something as heavy as a third gen Supra. Maybe a 3UZ or even a UR?

The MK2 Supra is a massive, heavy, aesthetic, grand tourer. If you're buying an A60 with speed in mind you're being daft. Just buy a different bloody car.
>retards that dont realize heavy long iron block Japanese I6's are heavier than light modern Aluminum block LS motors.
