Buy a 430hp car

>buy a 430hp car
>Get a speeding ticket for doing some spirited driving
>Quickly realize you can't use even a fraction of the car's potential on the street
>Don't want to spend $150 every weekend at the track just to have some fun
>Afraid of getting my license suspended by some asshole trying to meet his quota

How do I deal with this

>profit

>Merge onto highway at wide open throttle doing about 25mph
>Die

nope

This is why the brz exists.

>can afford a 430hp car
>can't afford a track day once a month to tame the urge

Build your own dirt track.

I had exactly this problem. I sold the car. To a point I do regret selling it, but if I kept driving that car it was just a matter of time before I lost my license or my life.

Waar woon je neger?

my sides

What is that? What is a 'Senator'?

Like picture if buick came out with a rebadged Chevy SS

this is why miatas and other small fun cars exist

Expensive Holden commodore, basically

>stay 5 below the speed limit
>increase of 10
>open throttle to 5 mph over
>cruise
that's a 20 mph sing in traffic. Just learn to drive.

>own a 500hp sedan
>bough a radar detector
>drive like a madman
>still never gotten a ticket.

Plebs

Discover the joys of luxury cars

I'm old as fuck, so I can relate with my younger years, but over time you just realize there's a time and a place, and you can have fun in short sprints.

My current vehicle is a mazdaspeed3, and it was kinda quick from the factory. After adding 100hp to it, I realize that it gets too 100+ mph a little too easily. That's why I usually focus on deserted back roads and highway on ramps for some fun every now and then.

What did you do for the extra ponies?

Not a lot, just
- 10 point cage with Parachute
- 3 piece discontinued JoJo frontend
- spec-R full drag suspension
- Fuel cell with -8 lines from tank to motor
- 1 044 bosch pump
- 1200 rc injectors
- golden eagle sleeved block
- cp 10:1 pistons
- Eagle rods
- arp headstuds
- oem h22 headgasket
- Balance shaft delete
- competition clutch twin disc
- Port and polished head
- skunk2 valve springs and retainers
- Str cam gears
- crower stage 1 cams
- aluminium radiator with slim fan
- gsr transmission with itr lsd.
- qsd h2k intake manifold adapter
- k20 rbc manifold
- qsd throttle body spacer
- blox 70mm throttle body
- 4bar omni map sensor
- 6al msd with coil and cap. 3 step launch control
- hks bov
- Garret 102mm turbocharger.
- Custom t4 front facing turbo manifold with 44mm flange
- 44mm tial wastegate

>Afraid

This.
People don't realize high end detectors will save your ass.
The C63 I bought had a top line Valentine already installed.

Police are using lidar not radar these days, lidar detectors will tell you you've been pinged, but it's too late by then, they already have a reading

its simple
watch out for cops

Drive spiritedly when it's appropriate and have some fukken self-control when it's not.
Also this

iktfb

My two wheeled bikeuu is faster than a hellcat or 99% of supercars, and speeding on a bike seems slower than a car for some reason. Its honestly tough when a mild throttle roll on brings you to double the limit within a second or two.

Just gotta have self control, and a good radar detector never hurts.

go to some toogay at night

im not even memeing but im really fucking paranoid about radar detector detectors

are they real or not? all my friends say they're real

They detect radars

> Car has radar dectector
> only gets X band

Not driving with an electronic warfare pod on a hardpoint

>$150

I wish I had that. Over here in Por"no car fun allowed"tugal, a single trackday entry goes for 300-400€, and people insist it's cheap.

Always look out for cops when driving, always be one step ahead & ready to run. Most pigs won't chase if you immediately out accelerate them and break line of sight. Get out of the city and go rural for less risk.

of course they fucking exist
Don't be a fucking idiot when your radar detector screams at you to fucking chill, smile and nod at the coppo, drive away unassumingly
Then fucking do whatever
Fuck, learn to appreciate a good cruise too, not everything has to be a race

>not a lot

Just a few simple mods.

So now you're making like what, 248hp?
Anyway I sure as fuck hope that's at the FRONT WHEELS because that's the only place the power should ever be.

>newfags cant spot pasta

The first post you quoted was finishing the meme, you massive fuckin idiot.

One Boi did but you missed it newfag

On the real, ignoring your copy pasta I DO have a speed 3 as well and have an extra 80whp or so on it at this point, sitting at 300 to the wheels when I run E85 and it's kind of annoying how quickly I get above speed limits now without realizing it. I just want to hear the boost spool after the SRI install, it sounds so good. Next thing you know I'm doing 70 in a 35.

It's kind of a curse

You don't actually buy Cobb products do you?

:^)

>This is why the brz exists.
For being slower than a Genesis?

IN THE TURNS?

This is funny because laser jammers are just that.

>implying cobb is bad

Buy something that's powerful, loud and slow.

If you like being jewed on everything and supporting the cancer that is their tuning software, then sure

LOL

>
>If you like being jewed on everything and supporting the cancer that is their tuning software, then sure
Looks like we have a wrxtard that bricked his car doing the simplest tune on an AP1. How can you even fuck up the instructions?
>keep key on on position
>turn off climate control, radio, and lights
>?????
>more power/fuel economy, profit.

Stop living in the city.

>Own fast car
>Launch at lights when no cops
>Have absolutely no desire to speed any more than I would in a shitbox
>Cruise at a speed I would in any car (except my Miata which is loud as fuck and uncomfortable) because any shitbox can speed

I don't get why people think because they bought a fast car they need to drive 90 in a 65 when everyone else is doing 80, if you're using the car's performance than it's either tossing it around corners, setting highscores on highways or launching, it has nothing to do with cruising

>than
Then* For all intents and purposes I'm considering "fast" getting to 60 in 4 to 5 seconds

>dirt

I agree their parts are expensive, but their tuning is simple and cheap. Plus it's pretty conservative so you won't destroy your engine. Plus you get all of their maps from one purchase. It's a pretty good company and the accessport makes it easy to get tunes from other shops if you so desire.

>He doesn't like dirt roads
If I had a large property I would make a dirt track immediately. Dirt is 10 times more fun to drive hard on than pavement.

OP is bitching about speeding tickets and 150 dollars a weekend to track his car. Do you really think he has the cash to build a paved track?

>buy ECM pod off eBay.ru
>blow through radar trap
>pod was mid advertised by the Russians
>cops baffled at car launching flares and chaff out the back

Doesn't matter when the detectors have GPS

Isn't a Genesis like 8k more?
