you cant get into the same stuff you can with a small bike but the ride is much smoother on my AT than either of my dualsports. theyre pretty easy to handle when traction is reasonable but the weight really shows when you slow down you can clear two track trails and roads with a lot more speed than youd expect and if you have some real balls they can hammer it out in the desert too.
i like the posture and overall feel of dualsports so adv bikes just feel good to me

What the fuck is a "stage 7 jet kit"? I was just reading forums and people mentioned different stages of jet kits. Doesn't make sense at all. Either your carbs are jetted right or they're not. I don't know where the stages come in.

>he doesn't know

It looked really fun and I've seen that Icon video of the guys on the Triupmh Tigers and was surprised how far those bikes can go given how heavy they are. My room mate used to have a NC700X that he let me ride and it was super comfy

Carb jets help in different conditions. Elevation, freer exhaust, and farts in the wind can impact your carbs jetting. Most people just say fuck it and run rich all the time. It's a science to decide what is best. It's lazy guess work to just run rich and just let you ride it.

adv is really just for dualsport guys that want to cover more ground and still be comfy.
i dont have the invincibility complex anymore so i probably wont ever get too crazy on the bikes
my next big ride im considering is the veterans back 40 WABDR rally.
goal is to run the 575 miles of the BDR within 24hrs which is pretty much all service roads and trails.

An nc700x is a literal piece of shit compared to a tiger

Don't get an NC700x
