Think I could just buy another 5HP18 off a 325iA, swap the torque converter and slap it in?

Realstic for me to be able to afford an E39 M5 toward the end of this year.

Bimmerfest is just around the corner. Still got $2500 that I've spent for my car but most of the shit won't be here in time.

I've never pitied my father so much in my life. I don't know what to tell him. I have no idea why he didnt buy a carfax before he bought a car online, or take it to some mechanic before handing over the check.

He thinks he can take this guy to court on the grounds of taking advantage of the elderly.
