Meme
2016 ecoboost owner here
Front diff leaks well below 30k miles.
Had gasket replaced once already, need to do it again.
Keep asking myself, what's next

>he bought an ecoboost truck
most real truck owners aren't buying that shit, mostly just mall crawlers

Kinda figured such when I took it to Ford and told them I actually used it offroad.
Service tech was surprised and asked a billion questions on how it performed.
Overall it's a very good/fun truck being that it's faster than the 5.0.
However this differentisl problem does leave me asking questions about the long-term reliability.

Seriously considering trading in for a Tundra or Chevy in near future if more goes wrong with this truck.

Lol

...

Can't wait to see what GM's ad's in 2018 are like.

I have 219k miles on my 99 F150. I had to change the alternator 2 winters ago.

...

2005 F-150 triton 5.4L
64,421 miles
replaced the stock brake pads this summer.

>Can't afford a bedliner

The f150 is the best selling truck in America for the same reason the corolla is the best selling car in the US.
It's at the right point of price and quality for the mass markets.
That does not mean it's a good truck, it means it's a meh truck.
That does not mean it's reliable, it means it's meh.

Dodge and Chevy out perform Ford in the truck market in every measure, but since they're more expensive they move fewer units.
The Japanese are trying hard to crack the American truck market, and the first to fall will be Ford.

They're very reliable

Best selling truck for a reason= they're reliable as fuark

Drove a 1500 dodge offroad. Stock it scraped and was incapable of getting places the f150 could.

I'm sure a leveling kit would fix this issue however needing to add aftermarket parts to improve it over the ford seemed rather stupid.

My mechanic knows 3 other people having front differential issues on the new Ford's. 2 ecoboosts and one 5.slow.
Take it for what you will.

What the fuck are you talking about? Dodge pick ups don't hold their value for shit for a reason. Those fuckers rust like no other.

Compare a 2004 Ram 3500 to a 2004 Ferd F350.

>Driver error

ford is of poor quality

If you say so ford marketing co.
I've had it replaced once already and have yet to take it off-road since.
Still leaks, so either your techs suck or your truck does.

2016 F150 owner. about 20,000 on the V8 so far since new no problems.

>Dodge and Chevy out perform Ford in the truck market in every measure,
Holy shit, this is some good b8.
I could almost give you chevy, but dodge? Outperforming anything? lmao

Pretty good truck. Just changed plugs, rear differential fluid, coolant flush, oil, ethanol free fue, new tiresl, and cleaned the K&N. Almost 113,000 and running like brand new. 2009 Ford F150 STX 4.6L 2V

>Have to remove the fuel rail to change the spark plugs

That's a negative, sausage fingers.

All that was required was a ratchet, a few extensions, and the proper socket. Also an air compressor to blow out all the debris before removal of the plugs. It only took an hour or so.

who ya calling sausage fingers? Sausage fingers.

Mahk

My dad bought a 2016 ecoboost for daily driving, he hasn't had a problem with it yet and we've driven it well over 30k miles
