You forgot to mention the part where its a limited collector's item not a mass production car like the NSX. if they announce they are producing as many as they can sell for as long as they can sell (say, 10 years instead of 4) the applications will drop.

Well the S2000, 1st gen nsx, and possible AWD civic type r will be affordable

There is only one (1) thing wrong with the new NSX:
What people wanted was a simple straightforward sportscar with a traditional V6 in the middle but they gave us a car with complex hybrid drivetrain no one wanted in a NSX.

That said the new NSX is alright and I kinda see what they are going for with it I just think they should have called it something else and say it is a "spiritual successor" to their legendary model.

NSX would probobly be my last choice at that price point, dont forget about the Jaguar F-Type SVR either. it may drag around the reliability issues of its badge but a supercharged 5.0L V8 has more passion and presence than V6 hybrid meme car.
