Worst advice I've ever seen
Go for it dude, my friend has one he bought at 60k, now at 90k, no major problems from keeping it lightly modded, now with about 4k in mods and dyno time he's pushing 320whp with upgraded brakes and suspension. Go for it, however I'd advise further searching for one with lower mileage. Just know that they handle poorly, this is not a gti. They are a straight line go fast car that can occasionally carve up a twisty and maybe get its tail out.
