Let's turn this back into a Viper discussion.

So, hypothetically speaking, what should SRT do with the hole in the lineup? IMO they have two options; either create a successor or revive the Viper.

I think that this was a fitting end to the Viper, where it finally became world-class. SRT should spend their time fine-tuning the engine and fitting it into a new FR design, like a Dodge Serpent or something along those lines. That way they don't have to reuse as many design facets and they can think outside the box

I'd get behind a successor car with a TT V8. A Z06/AMG GT/911 Turbo killer.

I wish they would revive the Viper seeing as it's amazing (subjective) and keeps the normies away, all for an actual reasonable price. But unfortunately we've all seen what SRT is going for and that's LET'S BE THE FASTEST IN A STRAIGHT LINE. The days of fun are long gone friends. Only the Snek is left

That brings up an interesting idea. In my opinion, the Viper was defined by the amazing 8.4L V10, so a successor should have an extension of the same engine style. That said, TT V8s are also really cool engines, and SRT should try their hand at one.

What that brings me to is a split of the Viper. One should be the straight continuation (Serpent) with the FR 8.4L V10, and the other (maybe Mamba, Boa, etc.) could have a FR TT V8 with a lighter chassis. That would be really interesting and bring more spice to the US supercar market

The smaller engined car would probably give Dodge an in when it comes to endurance racing as well. IIRC the Viper GTS-R had special rule exceptions just to allow it to have a 8.2L V10. I'm not sure if it ever won anything anyways.
