It's autotragic, so no.

>4-door coupe

4dr is not a coupe...
Looks like a knockoff fusion

nice knockoff maserati-that-fucked-a-fusion

silhouette is a 4 series ripoff, rear looks like a GranTurismo fucked an FD and the result got fat

How did it go from this to that?

not many

the fact that its a Kia does more harm than anything

it will be one of those cars you see every once in a while to remind you that they were actually made

yeah in a country where 97% of new cars sold are automatic a manual is a smarter choice

although I agree THIS car does not adequately fit the usual definition of a 4-door coupe, a couple can absolutely have more than just 2 doors.

just as a sedan can have less than 4. they're typically fringe cases.

>4 door sportscoupe
It's an auto-only liftback sedan, not a "4 door sports coupe".
It is also a Kia that costs more than a Mustang GT.

it looks breddy gud, i like it
my opinion doesn't matter though since i'm poor

i second this

closest I can come to possibly affording it is a used genesis coupe

I'm sure it will find a happy home in rental car fleets, just like every other Kia.

if they'd made it a Hyundai maybe
Kias have a reputation for being poorfag shitboxes here

A coupe cannot have more than 2 doors. There may or may not be an exception for the RX8.

Don't let the car manufacturers ruin this term. You know.. like they did with "sporty"

RX8 is exactly the example I would have made. # of doors alone is not the body style deciding factor.

but it usually goes the other way. there have been plenty of 4 door sedans. think 60s-80s full size models riding on the same wheelbase for either 2 or 4 door configs. those are sedans even when they only have two doors.

it's going to end up costing more than people will want to spend on a kia

Especially the Audi A5 side looks a lot like the Kia.

>Don't let the car manufacturers ruin this term. You know.. like they did with "sporty"
It's too late for that already.

>Korean cars

Is that the final name of it though?

Stinger makes it sound like some autistic 10 year old GTA player named it.

If it's cheap. If they price it with the 335i. M3 etc etc. It will die a fast death.

This car should start at $29k (compete with the 370z/WRX prices). Then HIGH END price should be $38k, full optioned. They are still a shit company with mediocre cars and have no following in this category. Come in on the cheap and you will create that following. I would buy the awd one for $33kish.

These will be an automatic 4k rebate off the price. On top of that dealers will mark them down to 5k off MSRP. On top of that you should be able to jew down the price an addtl 2-5k, just because.

Korean cars never sell for sticker price, ever. And this will be even worse because it looks like shit and will sell like shit.

Just look at NEW Kia Cadenzas and K900s on dealer websites right now.

Rich Asians will be all over it. It looks flashy enough to impress their friends yet will be cheaper than the competition to lease.

Jesus christ, it looks huge and the rear door cut is ugly.

If this was a Mazda the press and enthusiast crowd would be creaming themselves in anticipation.

I don't think it will very popular. America is more about coupe sports cars rather than a sedan. The Chevy SS was a amazing car, but the 4 door part killed it. Now if they released it in Australia, it would be welcomed. 4 door sports cars tend to be popular there.

It might not be shit?

Its actually about the same, the rear wheel drive is 35k with the 3.3TT

and puts down a 4.7s 0-60 so it is actually pretty equal to the mustang, and as for the track people were saying it isgreat on the track as well.

I see Cadenza's and Optima SX's all of the place which is pretty much equal price.

This stinger actually came before the coupe version.

It originally looked like

Sorry, I'd rather get this

>affordable FR sports car on the horizon
>no clutch
>no handbrake
F U T U R E

Its hardly a sports car

KIA

Unironically buying a car that means Killed In Action.

The people in charge thought it was a good idea to market a vehicle in the United States called Killed In Action and it plastered all over it.

I don't care what it means in Korean, the fact that it means Killed In Action here, hell, I give them balls for trying it.

Most people dont automaticly think of Killed in Action for KIA unless they are some militaryboo who probably never served anyway.

I'm looking for a midsized sports sedan with an auto and rwd. I have no idea if its midsized nor if its rwd

According to Kia Motors, the name "Kia" derives from the Sino-Korean characters ki (起, "to come out") and a (亞, which stands for (East) Asia), it is roughly translated as "to come out of the east."

Taken from wiki. Next time try not to jump to fucking conclusions about names and shit dummy.

literally everyone I know will never buy a KIA for this exact reason.

Did I not say in my post, "I don't care what it means in Korean..."

You fucking actual retard?Kill yourse

rwd and 190"x74"
fits right in

How fucking stupid are you? Go drown yourself in your bathtub you delusional autistic faggot.

Yes but I was correcting your stupid comment because that is what you do when someone says something dumb. Its called conditioning. Also why wish death on anybody? Seems like a petty thing to say to someone that probably stems from your own issues with life, especially for something so petty. Learn to be happy and remember friend everything is a metaphor

>4 door
>coupe

lol. So you're an actual faggot? Got it.

Kill yourself.

Sportscoupes here are typically are bought by manual owners.

>Triggering intensifies

lol. Summer is here.

>not understanding that most Americans alive today can't drive stick

Yes? there are 2 door sedans and 4 door coupes. Learn the difference.

lol. Same fag being a fag.

Kill yourself.

Its something that isn't taught here. Automatics are the majority if not authority in regards to learner cars. I remember I sign up for a course and then realized the business offered a manual car so I practiced with there's after I had my license

You don't know how this works do you?

Manuals are becoming obsolete due to the fact that most people don't like driving all that much. You will live to see the day that "standard" transmission is gone for good on almost all commercially sold cars.

I do understand that. I can drive stick though, and will never own a car without a manual transmission despite my country of origin.

Kill yourself.

I wont lie. Driving has become a burden in my area especially with hipsters carrying couches on dumped corollas plus the moped plus that dickhead on a fixie riding his bike the wrong way in traffic

Just wait until you have to commute for work. Manuals are shit in stop and go traffic.

I do commute to work and it honestly doesn't bother me. It's not a big deal, and certainly not enough to get me to give up the fun of rowing my own on clear roads.

lol literally this mad about nothing

I feel sorry for people like you who care what other people think of you

I dont care if its manual or automatic even thought my daily is a turbo coupe. There are cars made for automatic and those are cars made for manuals, this one is not. if you want a manual from korean, then get the elantra

Sooner you do it the sooner this embarrassment of a life you lead will all be over.

Looks like a chink Knick off oft the quadrofromaggio

Still going?

>not having a shitty auto banger to drive to work with
You fucked up.

Ditto?

Nobody truly LIKES a manual transmission, especially any of the 25yo college dropouts on Veeky Forums pretending that they grew up in 1968 rowing their own gears in a GTO or some shit.

No, most of the kiddies here pretend to like manual because that's what their shitbox that they paid $500 for off Craigslist came with.

*sport sedan
And to answer your question, yes. Plenty of people are stupid enough to buy a Korean car.

I can confirm this. My father thought it would be a good idea for his learner permit son to drive a a gto judge home in a rainstorm one state away. Just finished his meal at the diner and got into his friends car who was in on it and bounced on me. So there I was...one state away in a fucking rainstorm driving a car that could probably kill me home. Yeah it wasn't fun but it got the point across...driving manual sucks and cars are dangerous.Dont even start me on the time he taught me how to change a tire

>nobody likes something because i dont like it.
>proceed to project

ok

>Dont even start me on the time he taught me how to change a tire
reminds me of the time a friend of mine got told how babies are made. His dad gave him 4 hours of porn and told him to go down in the basement and watch it (this is back in the pre-internet days). When it was done and he came back up all his dad said was, "that's how."

lmfaooooo
I wont even tell my story about how my dad taught me about the kind of women you don't
associate with. I literally cried.

But since I mentioned the tire one..here it is
>Be me
>Im new driver
>we stop at place to pick up shit
>Little did I know he punctured the tire
>Going down road at 60
>blowout
>We pull over
>I start the process as he dictated
>He takes out spare
>looks fresh
>pulls out knife
>stabs it
>oh no user...its flat
>YOU JUST MADE IT FLAT
>tosses me tire
>figure it out

we got home...ill end it on a high note.

But why did he pop the spare though?

Like...that's literally what the spare is for...I don't understand...

to prove a point about how sometimes life is shit and even with our petty safeguards things go wrong and you need to improvise or spend 2k towing a car from a highway 100 miles or walk. idk man

Maybe it's just me but that rear is fucking hideous.

He just sounds like a peice of shit that tries to be difficult t b h.

Quite the opposite. He is a huge support figure in my life and always has and has had my back. Hes eased up ALOT because hes taught me everything I probably need for a lifetime. He said it was a shame how parents send there kids off into the word with 0 skills and 0 assets. He didnt want me to be one of these shambling wrecks walking around the city on a brink of a meltdown. These are just the funny stories the majority of them are literally him just sitting me down and teaching me how to reconcile bank books, how to budget, buy a car and pay the loan etc etc

Bunch of retards in this thread.

Coupe and sedan designation has nothing to do with the number of doors and everything to do with the roofline. Google it.

He also knew how my mother was incapable of teaching anything and was far to busy to be bothered with me so even stuff like cleaning and cooking for myself...how to sew a tear in clothes etc etc

It's so FUCKING UGLY OH MY GOD

>Optima GTS murdered Pirelli World Challenge
>now they've made a proper RWD TT luxury sport Optima

Yes daddy

lolwut

literally you
youtube.com/watch?v=AismFDcA0Kk

You do realise autos account for more than 80% of new car sales in the USA, right???

that's pretty fuckin nice to be honest mate

Dude you and your dad both need professional help. There is no reason to pop a perfectly good spare when you already have a flat. You're dad is retarded for "teaching" you some broken window philosophy and you are fucking psycho for defending that kind of behavior.

Yeah, because Mazda has a great history of making RWD cars with excellent handling, while the Koreans have yet to make a single car that isn't shit.

>Kia still hasn’t officially disclosed curb weight, but I hold to my original guesstimate of about 3,900 pounds in GT trim.
THICC
>it is “guided” like a high-speed jet boat
>boat
oh boy

>TL;dr
It will sell in America, but not a lot simply because it doesn't fit into one of two categories; SUV or crossover SUV. The majority of American drivers have to have vehicles with a high center of gravity, AWD, and crammed with as much technology as possible. I hate it.

Slap a road tax on them and they'll die out. Those fucking barges don't sell outside NA.
