I'm okay with it because it meant the Viper did what every car's goal is. It performed well, inspired others, created a legend, and had a wonderful finish. It's better that other manufacturers can use what was nearly perfected in the Viper to produce other cars that achieve those goals.

Besides, the reason SRT never made the Challenger a track car was because they saw the Viper filling that role. Now that it's gone, they will either resurrect it or create a successor.
