Modern Cars Destined to Become Classics

ITT, we discuss cars from the year 2000 on that are future classics.

I will start off the thread with the 2013-2014 GT500

>Last of the live rear axles
>Huge, one-off engine
>662hp, and weighs 600 lbs less than Hellcat

>any S197
>design by committee, no artistic face to its development
>no competition pedigree and common as fuck
>classic
No

The only American cars with any chance of becoming a classic that could pull Concours prices is the Ford GT and the Dodge Viper.

Lmao, you think a car that has been in production for 30 years with essentially no variation is going to be a classic.

the sn95 is the worst generation of mustang, yet the terminator is worth more than any gen1 viper. and just like the gt500, it was only made for the last 2 years of production for that gen

Such a fucking perfect car, maybe the best Ford has ever made in a long time.

aside from the c5z and typhoon and viper, all amercian cars after 1970 and before 2004 are absolute fucking dogshit.

The 1973 Chrysler Newport is the king of cars.

the metro

These are already appreciating in value, and 3-4 year old FJs with 50,000 miles are selling for their original MSRP.

>proper RWD longitudinal mounted reliable NA engine
>many with 6MT
>insanely durable
>unique styling doesn't look like anything else on the road
>easy to modify and service yourself
>shares platform with 4Runner and Tacoma so parts are readily available, and will be for decades to come

There's literally no good reason not to buy one now and just maintain it.

There won't be any left, they'll all be flower planters or piles of rust.

The Honda Accord Type-R

Only 700 or so still on the road. Fucking great car, all the handling of a DC2 but with 4 doors and without the chav image.

Owned one for 4 years, was a great car. Also had a DC2 which was awesome too.

Heres a pic of my old beast.

From the rear...

>beast
Lol

MUH DICK

Don't forget muh suicide doors

Almost any 2 door hatch unless they come back in style any time soon.

...

Let me tell you about the GXP. The Pontiac G8 GXP is not just a contender for a future classic car. This pussy-discharging monster is already a modern fucking classic.
>LS3 making 415 HP
>6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission
>0-60 in 4.5 goddamn seconds
>FE3 suspension tuned for Nurburgring
>Only 1,900 ever produced, with only 6 of them in the land of Tim Hortons and hockey
>It holds its value really well, as long as it isn't wrecked or salvaged
>A lot of enthusiasts from buck-toothed, Browning-fanboy rednecks to perpetually flaccid middle-aged dads to kings of the high-school senior parking lot want and buy them
>Foor doors for whores and grocery stores
>It was Pontiac's last hurrah before they died
If that's not classic, you must've gotten a lobotomy from Michael J. Fox.

Pic related. A future classic. Last of the old school jap turbocharged rally things.

Thoughts?

That commodore is shit dude. Slower than a GT.

E92 m3

Last of the m3 coupes
Last of the N/A motors
Last of the hydraulic steering and no fake noise bullshit
Finally getting cheap which means morons will crash them and increase rarity

>Australian el camino
Fuck off.

>SN95 is the worst
>not the ii

>he doesn't want the handling of a sedan, practicality of a ute and the power of a v8
What are you, gay?

I'd hope cars made in australia would have classic value but who knows, utes will probably end up as classics though.

muh suicide doors are actually awesome, if you only use the back for storing gear.

way nicer to get in the front and back at the same time instead of having to go around a rear door

I want to lick her butthole

>considering practicality at all when purchasing a vehicle
Gay spotted.

thats a lotta woman

>being a retarded hipster instead of a hard working tradesman
Does lifting a 10kg weight fracture your wrists?
