So Veeky Forums, I recently purchased a Honda Fit as my new daily driver, working out pretty well so far, only one problem really; the shifter is quite small, at least compared to accord I used to have. I know it's a small thing, but is there an easy way to increase its height somewhat? It'd be more comfortable.
shifter extension rods are super easy to find, especially for Honda fitment.

Well while viagra, AKA sildenafil, helps maintain an erection, it does not, in fact, make an erect penis larger, at least as far as I'm aware. Being erect isn't the shifter's issue here, only its size. Thanks for the input though.

Thanks user, I'll look into that!

this, op, find your thread pitch and order one from amazon for 15$

if you don't like the look of a shifter extender, you could always try a taller shift knob if that's more your speed.

how are you liking it so far? I opted for the hrv. I have had it for about a year now and its basically a bulky fit.

alternatively, you could get one of those jdm dildo shift knobs

I'm curious how you're liking it as well. My daily is a Mitsubishi Mirage with a manual transmission. I chose it because of Mitsubishi's incredible warranty. The fuel economy is incredible. When I get some more money saved in a couple years I might upgrade to an EVO.

I'll look into these too, if I could find a decent looking one that would probably be preferable to an extender. Thanks
I'm liking it so far but truth be told: 1) My old car was a 23 year old honda accord, so anything would be a step up 2) I haven't even had it a week yet and haven't put much time into it. That being said, it's what I expected and needed. Accelerates, and corners smoothly, good suspension, having a rear view camera is nice in certain situations. It's also super comfy and spacious inside given its size. I've got mixed feelings about keyless ignition though. And the clutch is weird; it's basically either all the way depressed or not at all. Plus of course the short shifter, which seems to be the norm now. Also, don't expect it to have a ton of power, because it doesn't. So ya, just a few thoughts.

I was taken back by its baseness. I opted for the hrv for the real wheels on the lx. I did not want steelies again. I do regret not getting an upper trim. When I look at the hrv its reallly small so I cant even imagine how much smaller the fit would look in contrast.
Tyler Wright
Baseness in the lx that is. I assume you got a higher trim because of the keyless. Good buy though.

I got the ex trim. But honestly the space was the most deceptive thing for me. Despite being tiny, the interior feels no smaller than my gigantic accord station wagon, and I'm decent big at 6'2. So definite sacrifice in trunk space but altogether I've been pretty shocked.

I feel the same way about the hrv my man. I was like holy fuck....this thing can actually fit some stuff its not much compared to the fit but its someting like this if i remember from when I looked it up... >fit 52.7 >hrv 58.7

Ya it's pretty magical.
Glad you're happy with your car. I suspect I will be too.

Yeah I literally only have one complaint, it seems the top of the dash sometimes slightly disconnects from the cluster housing but not by much. I can literally press it black into place. I suspect a faulty clamp. Yeah I think you will def enjoy it.

Hey guys I also got a fit recently and I love it. '15. I got a weighted shift knob cause its just too light for me
