When car shopping, what specific specs do you look at and consider? For me it's:
>Hp
>Torque
>Interior space
>Height from ground
>Wheelbase
>Wheel size
>Turning diameter

>doesn't consider power/weight
>wheel size
>ride height
>fucking wheelbase
user are you high or just dumb?

>how it feels to drive
>how it feels to drive
>how it feels to drive
>how it feels to drive

weight.

heavy cars are comfy cars.

Exhaust note takes absolute priority for me, if the engine/exhaust doesn't sound nice or can't be modified to sound nice then it will take a lot for me to consider buying that car.

Pleb, for me it is:
>price
>money you have to spend to keep it working

This
>do i like it?
yes/no, pretty straight forward

for picking a type of car, and not specifics to one particular car such as not having rust and before going for a test drive.

In order of importance for me:
>has a manual transmission
>weight
>torque/power curve (area under curves from real dyno sheets)
>looks/styling
>interior quality/comfort
>repair ease/expected maintenance costs/reliability

that's about it for me

I actually do consider weight I just forgot about it

oops I forgot to take off my meme name from another board, i'm actually an user pls forgive me

Car 1, in no particular order
>ease of maintenance
>general durability
>popularity
>parts availability and price
>general state used models for their price
>fuel efficiency
>cargo space
>driver visibility
>driver and passenger headroom, legroom, etc
>ride comfort

Car 2
>how fun it is to drive
>price/performance

I think I made the right choice with Car 1 (2004 Toyota Matrix), I'm not sure when I'll get to Car 2. Might just get a Miata NA and really good tires.

In other words you only drive civics?

And Corollas, all bought for 3k of course.

>resale
>reliability
>recreation
>responsivity
>responsibilities

I use what I call the 5 r's

>do i like it
>can i afford it

i rarely buy a car i plan on buying. I narrowed my last choice down to a FN2 Civic Type R or a 350z. Ended up buying a mk2 Focus ST.

>Weight
>Number of cup holders
>Number of driven wheels
>Number of cylinders
>Number of landau tops (0-1)
>How angry are the headlights
>How many buttons does the radio have
>can I sleep in it

What about price

>forgetting cup holders per cylinder

lol enjoy your slowcar

I have two knock out criteria on whether to consider buying a specific car
>Manual?
>RWD?
if those are met the deciding factors are
>power/weight
>styling/gut feeling how much i like it
>ability to modify what i don't like about the stock car

>you only drive civics?
>not driving god tier 4th gen civic ED6 hatchback

>tfw 1/2 cupholder and 8 cylinders

>Do I like it
That's all you need nigga.

Currently looking to replace my DD with something newer so
>Price obviously
>Then reliability of the model
>Equipment
>Engine

Then when I go see the car
>Comfiness and layout of the interior
>Driving feel
>Then detailed inspection

WTF i love gingers now

welcome aboard

What episode is this from? The gang finds a hot ass bitch?

>>how it feels to drive
>pop-ups
>>how it feels to drive
>>how it feels to drive
>>how it feels to drive
>weight/power ratio

>not wasting all your money on an unreliable shitbox that needs parts from a different country

>Is it a Camaro?
>If not, is it a Twingo?
>If neither, look somewhere else.

>Hot redhead draped over hood.

>how easy is it to skid

so, you chose a tesla?

>Implying I'm a richfag
Of all the cars I'd buy, that'd be the absolute last

Thinking about buying a new Mazda 3, heard they are reliable and fuel efficient. It's just going to be for city driving, I already have a work truck.

Anyone have any experience?

i test drove a 2016 and it was worse than a focus, for whatever that's worth.

That only happens when you're gay

how do you even measure this?

bought a 2014 when they released, at 80,000 miles and still no regret. I think it looks stupid as shit as a sedan, and the hatch has been phenomenal these few years

in feels

I test drove Sport and Touring models.

Takeaways:
>Sedans are quieter. Much, much quieter.
>Both will have drones on highway. 16" wheels are surprisingly more punishing.
>If you're getting a 3, do go for Touring if you value any creature comfort at all.

Honestly, go and test drive them all and make a decision for yourself. No two people have same preferences for what kind of cars they want to drive. 3 wasn't my cup of tea, but it's a good car.

yeah but without doing a test drive, how can you tell which cars are fun to drive

rwd

>price
>reliability/maintenance requirements
>fuel economy

i hate cars. i just want bikes but i need a car for work
