Honda a shit
>still hasn't fixed my shoddy link

SECOND FOR COOL

>REEEEE
:^)
but good to hear that you can come, I hope it works out for me, too.

Honda a gud

...

what competition is this?

>What do you consider "low mileage"?

Anything under 20k miles.

That's not to imply that any bikes above that mileage are bad, but if the PO was a neglectful retard, by that point it'll start to show.

Fingers crossed. With neither FKG and Bimmer and ST guy and a shitton of other people I can't think of right now missing I'll know pretty much no one there.
I hope your gf is 2D because otherwise that's PD.

hmm I wonder

What does Veeky Forums wear for protective gear in the extreme heat, I sweat like a fucking pig in my jacket, pic relalated.

I squid in the city and to work like a mofo
gear is for trips

Black leather jacket with front and rear cooling vents open. As long as I'm moving faster than 20mph or so it's fine but sitting at lights does suck.

The price you pay.

Wearing some unprotective textile shit you're still going to be hot in is fucking retarded.

I got a white jacket with lots of vents.

I don't even know who is supposed to come anyway

Why does DBT hate the PC800?

It has the best styling of the 80s and 90s by far.

photoshop skills over 9000

>reflection
Every time.

Just wear leathers and don't be a bitch.

>It has the best styling of the 80s and 90s by far.
No, no it doesn't.

That is fucking hideous and you are uncultured swine.

Can we discuss serious shit for once?
>What tyres pressure do you run?

fucking kek

34F - Shinko 705
38R - Anakee Wild

Nope, probably should.

V-Stronk ain't got rearsets.

>>What tyres pressure do you run?
on my sportbike
36-40 day to day
32-34 in the twisties

on my supermoto
~27 front and rear pretty much all time time.

>>When was the last time you adjusted your suspension to suit you? Any tips?
When I rebuilt my forks
Tip: don't change shit unless you know what the changes will do or what result you're trying to end up with. If you are clueless either leave it at OEM settings or take it to a suspension shop to set up for you.

>>Where do you have your rearsets and shifter positioned?
By my feet. What kind of question is this?
shifter is adjusted for easiest shifting for whatever boots I wear most.

Forgot to add that it has a footpeg lowering kit and that I adjusted the shifter upwards in order to fit my A* adv moonboots.

35 front and rear

Haven't touched the suspension but I will once I have the money to, I'm probably 50-70 lbs over the intended weight

I like where the rearsets are so I don't really want to mess with them.

>What tyres pressure do you run?
2.4 front, 2.9 rear

>When was the last time you adjusted your suspension to suit you? Any tips?
A week after I bought it, so over 2 years ago.

>Where do you have your rearsets and shifter positioned?
Shifter and rear peddle as high as possible, so my adv boots could use them.

Thanks lads. I've been playing with tyres pressure every weekend trying to get it right but still get some bubbling on the tyres when I'm redline on the Twisties (it's 40 mins of twisties non stop 100kmph limit road so it gets hectic).

>I've been trying to get suspension and rearsets perfect too. Lots of adjustments available on the new gsxr

>What tyres pressure do you run?
2.1 and 2.2 bar front and rear respectively.

You can run lower on the street depending on how hard your tires are and how suicidal are you.

On the track it's too case and tire specific. I usually go 2.0 front and 1.8 rear, but I run tires with soft carcasses.

>When was the last time you adjusted your suspension to suit you? Any tips?
About a few months back but I put it too hard, it was especially bad on the rear as the bike was having the tire act as suspension due to how stiff it was. Reverted it back to stock and haven't played with it since. Front is fine, rear is a pogo stick. Should definitely re-approach the whole thing but been meh about tracking it again lately.

>Where do you have your rearsets and shifter positioned?
Stock position. If you're having to move them around too much, might as well consider another bike to better suit the type of riding you're doing.

COWASUCKY

...

HAWNDUH MODERSICKLES.

>If you have to move your rearsets consider another bike
I'm guessing you own a shitbike. Any modern sports bike has a lot of room for adjustments with oem rearsets

SOO ZOO KEYY

Are heated grips actually useful or a money trap?

Just get a hand guard.

jeans and leather jacket is the best.

Textiles in hot weather is horrible

I

HYABUSA

What about on a sport-bike? Or anything that isn't heavy enough to forgo the weights?

Very useful

Wouldn't know, famalam.

Heated grips are awesome, the first thing I add when I get a new bike.
35f/40r, and Ive never adjusted my suspension because Im a hungry skeleton.

Carb is leaking, can't figure out why, cause I'm not so adept at carbs.
Even if I knew, I couldn't get anything to fix it until tuesday at the earliest.
Just fuck my four day weekend all up.

Not that user, but I've used heated grips.
They're meh.
Not worth the money imo.

>having cold hands

Do you live somewhere cold?
In the winter time they are a lifesaver

>california
>shit it got down below 70
>turn on
:^)

Acquire carb seals and a new float/needle valve. All bases covered.

I JUST WANT A FUCKING FJR 1300

>they're keeping that stupid rear header loop under the seat
Great, so it'll be just as dick burningly hot as the current panigale.

THEN BUY ONE!

I want one too

Will Ducati still run away from competing on the 8 Hours of Suzuka after this thing comes out?

Or will their future Harley Davidson masters set them straight?

I ordered a carb rebuild kit couple days ago, actually before I knew it was leaking.
Would this have all of that.
I've been schooling myself on carbs the last few days. I think it's a seal somewhere.
It's leaking from a hole right before the intake, which leads to the main jet.

need to get my full license first... not for another month if I'm lucky.

my commute is 60 miles of slab a day, I really need something like the FJR.

Yes, in the winter, and they really weren't for me.
Nice, but not worth the money.

It probably will have what you need. Good luck m8!

FJR a good. A guy at work has one and loves it. He even rode it from Iowa down to the COTA MotoGP race.

I probably already asked but do you /dbt/ guys make an european meet other than an american one?

You mean the SEM?

what where and when

>8 hours suzuka
so a literally who race? Nobody is impressed that it won't enter that. If you wanted to insult Ducati you're better off asking why it won't compete in Isle of Man.

>what
Super EuroMeet

>where
West Austria

>when
In 4 weeks

niqqa ever thought about advertising this in some way?
west austria where? I'm pretty close, I'm in Milan rn

I'm just worried about it being heavy as fuck, I might let it fall over.

Suzuki TL1000R a shit

>650 lbs wet
The CG on it is pretty low, as is the seat height. You'll be fine.

>niqqa ever thought about advertising this in some way?
This is the third year.
It's been advertised to hell and back, e-mail lists have been made, camping has been booked.
You're just either blind, or too new.

Have a good weekend at Pride, Baird?

newfag
and where is it again?

...

TLs a better mistress, like fucking a supermodel over a bed of molten glass.

>$100 for a heated blanket in handgrip form

The motorcycle tax is real

Isn't this shit generally cheaper in europe/asia where people use bikes as transport instead of toys though? Like, $50 at a bike shop?

>insulting my bike's momfu
fuck you and your lack of bike

>single sided swingarm
>again

Isn't this dumb as fuck for a performance bike? IIRC, endurance racers figured out how to change tires with regular, lighter, more rigid swingarms just as fast so this technology only has a place on commuter machines as everyday owners are not so adept at axel alignments and chain adjustments.

>this technology only has a place on commuter machines as everyday owners are not so adept at axel alignments and chain adjustments.

Guess which demographic most bikes are meant for?

I'll give you a hint. It's no endurance racing.

!

wtf is up with Avus???

It's just a road course on a section of highway, I don't think it's ever used anymore.

It hasn't really existed since 2000

Where do you go to experience this?

Finland

Calobogie actually looks legit in this.

I didn't know v4 literbikes were grocery getters

Brb taking my rsv4 to Wal-Mart (ooooh oooow my back)

hah please tell me that the teardrop shaped ends are a short section of offramp, a u-turn under the highway, and another short section of on-ramp
>imagining bikes desperately dragging pegs on the two turns they get for 12 miles

every bike i check out owned by a nog or spic is super fucked up and they just lie lie lie about it

Is this back thing a meme.
I honestly prefer the riding position on a supersport. And no one I know complains about the position either.

Are you really short?

I couldnt even ride my old sv650s for more than 2 hours before my back was fucked, and thats supposed to be comfier than most supersports.

It's your wrists, your back/core, or leg cramps depending on how you hold yourself up. It's muscle soreness not old man joint pains (except for the wrists).

The only solution is to get Veeky Forums

I'm 6'2", my dads 6'4". Most of our buddies are within that range.
I guess my brother at 5'4" counts as short.
All supersports btw.

Only pain I've ever got was with wrists, but I got that on dirt bikes and tourers as well.

My knees are the worst pain I get when riding a supersport because I put a lot of weight on the pegs to keep it off my hands. I usually give in and rest on my hands when cruising for a long time, so my wrists get sore too.

Back and butt pain come too but I can deal with it.

Doesn't look like they came from a normal road.

Thank god I decided not to ride the bike.
It was for legitmate reasons, but it has started to hail.
Don't think I would have enjoyed being pelted to death.

>I didn't know v4 literbikes were grocery getters
They are street bikes. The vast majority of which are not sold to compete in any sort of racing. And the manufacturers know this.
