What jack do you use?

what jack do you use?

walmart scissor jacks

Hammer jack

A crowbar and some plastic milk crates

Low-profile Biltema hydraulic, 2.5 tonnes

lewd

Bought a moto master floor jack. It's absolute dogshit after 2 years. Doesn't stay up anymore.

Sounds like my ex

Pittsburgh

A 30yr old 2 1/4 ton viking floor jack

>single piston
trash

I use a sturdy steel double pumper not dissimilar to the one in your picture, and I like it because it's tough. It is however quite heavy and many of my friends own the Billet Aluminium Costco jack which seems to be a very good alternative for people who don't abuse their jacks as much as I do.

19.99 walmart hydraulic with a missing wheel

I don't think you're supposed to put a jack right there.

I have Torin.

Jack the mechanic

off.

NOS Aluminum 2 ton low profile

Whats the benefit of more pistons on a jack?

Goes up faster I think.

It just raises the car up way faster, that's all.
But in a world where double piston jacks are abundant and cheap why would you settle for a lower class single piston?

I use some orange no name jack i found in my great grandpa's garage. not super low pro, but lower than most of those cheap 2 ton ones you get at walmart and hf

probably going to buy the $80 HF low pro one soon. the orange one is a bitch to transport, lift, and use at track/autox

Well, this one had all I needed and was on 50% sale ($80 or something like that)

Get a billet aluminum jack like From my friends experience those low pro jacks are rubbish, much better off to drive onto wooden chocks and use a normal jack.

I'm sure it does the job just fine but once you've used a double pumper you'll know what I'm talking about.

>not using the patrician choice

>have metal ramps
>have low car
>RIP in peace front bumper cover

Drive onto wooden chocks -> ramps

i don't have time for your car gymnastics

>I don't understand these basic things because they're hard for me!
Go away yuropoor

I use bricks then use a pittsburg jack to lift it.

1 i'm not retarded yuropoor
2 it's easier to just put my car in driveway and put a jack under the car
3 sometimes you have to take off a wheel

the off jack

I'll probably put more money into one when this one starts giving out

I've tried out one like this (probably also single-piston) at my friends garage, and I really liked the little pedal you can use with your foot, which makes it a lot quicker to use

What if I have to do my brakes or change my wheels?

>i'm not retarded yuropoor
Oh shit sorry mate, i didn't mean to insult you like that.

This heavy motherfucker.

It's a pain if you want to lug it round much, but it's great. will lift 3.2 tonnes, double action shizzle (they call it 'magic lift' lol)
