Then I'm sure you won't mind me taking this car to a mechanic and put on a lift to be checked out.
...
if it's so good then they'd get it reclassified as rebuilt
I know it sucks but sometimes even cosmetic damage can out weigh the insurance companies pay out.
Had a car get vandalized by my neighbors retarded kids. By the time the insurance company tallied up my smashed windows and keyed up paint they wrote it off. And handed me a check way more than what i could have sold it for.
However. This is ((((usually))) not the case
>i know thats a lot of miles but its a toyota
>No lowballers, I know what I have!
>KBB is $4500 so that's what I'm selling it for, NOT A DOLLAR LESS!
>Just needs a $5 part to run perfect, I just don't have time to fix it!
My favorite is this e63 m6 going for sale on my local CL
All you need to know is: "Salvage title due to very minor scratch on door."
...
>salvage title
>seller still asking full price
>won't respond to lowball offers
post please
>won't pass smog
>no title
>you tow
>first come first serve
>will not entertain lowballers
>price is firm
>using a craigslist email instead of phone number
>just needs a new _____ and she's perfect!

It's over halfway to death.
I'm actually surprised no one has bought it yet.
>test drive only with full cash in hands
>money will be held at my bank
I wonder if these people ever manage to sell their cars.
I'm pretty sure there's a hell of a lot more wrong with it than a very minor scratch
Nobody lets go of an e63 m6 that low without good reasons
>Bought Salvaged 2011 Mustang with manual trans
>Rear crash fucked the trunk
>Rebuilt
21k miles
>Got it for 8k dollars, 3k in cash and 4k for my older mustang
>Everything is perfect
>2 years and the only problem is the ford recall for Takata airbags.
Sometimes you got lucky.
Craigslist, right? Home of the salvage title bargains?
Will you take $500 for it? I want to race it in 24hrsoflemons.
kill yourself, reddit trash.
I've been driving a rebuilt car for years now
>doesn't have a title but you can just get in from the DMV
=stolen
>"she has aids, but if you fuck her, you'd never know"
>Searching Texas Craigslist
>"clean MICHIGAN title"
i did that, its a long arduous process
>"NO RUST, I SWEAR"
>car spent its whole life in the rust belt
>mfw no rust on a 150k mile car
I can't tell you how many times sellers have refused to do this. I ask them to take it to my mechanic at their convenience, I pay for the inspection and even offer to reimburse them for the gas, if everything checks out I tell them I will buy it but they still refuse. They keep saying nothing is wrong with it and it would waste of their time. So many dishonest people in this world.
