Is there a significant difference in stuff once you print it on vinyl as far as coloring goes?

Just wondering how vector gradients are going to look when actually printed out instead of just on a monitor.

depends on what its printed on, and the gradient.
a gradient to clear will of course look wrong when printed on white, but pretty much anything else would look fine when printed on white.
If printed on a darker or bolder colour like some specialty vinyls have you'll can get a tint difference, but this isn't much different than printing or painting on regular papers in that regard.
