Drive around corner slightly faster than normal

>drive around corner slightly faster than normal

>riding on the autobahn, going WOT and near the limiter for quite some time
>red oil warning light comes on

>Hit a speed bump a little faster than usual
>check engine and tpms lights turn on

>take wet corner a little harder as usual
>go straight

>"user, your car is running quite nicely"
>It is :)
>Car immediately shits itself
>CE light appears
>Stall
>Coolant temp sensor ceases to work
>Limp car 20 miles home
>Die inside a little

>Go over speed bump
>sscccrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaapppppeeee

>coolant starts leaking out of the water pump gasket
>stops leaking because black sludge blocks the hole

>remove handbrake
>drive off
>rear wheels stay stuck and don't rotate

put it in reverse and drive backwards, normally means a stone is stuck in it.

>start car
>all warning lights come on

>get off highway
>oil pressure light slowly flickers to life

>new brakes
>squeal is as terrible as ever

>ride with anyone in the back seat

>a week passes with nothing
>it's wednesday again

FWD problems

r u me?

>FWD problems

ah yes taking a wet corner fast is much safer in a RWD car

>finally find and fix coolant leak
>now leaking tranny fluid

>replace broken stepper motor for speedo
>the sender unit burns out the next day

>fit new leaf springs to replace saggy old ones
>the shackles creak for 5k miles

>Fix leak in rear door
>front door begins leaking

>fuel gauge stuck on F for years
>hit rail crossing at 40 and get slightly airborne
>gauge works now

That's why I call my Suburban "Jenny"... she constantly wants my attention and does stupid stuff to get it, just like a girl I used to date.

it is if you know how to drive you aspie

>lots of rain, floods occurring
>hit pothole
>windscreen wipers stop dead centre
>heater fan stops
>heated windscreen stops working

>Блядь

>fill gas
>CEL light comes on
>fill again
>It goes off

Jennnahy

I guess she's like that Jenny, too... she's had 10 owners and has a horrible disease (bodyrot). At least she hasn't dumped a kid on me... yet.

Gas cap wasn't tight bruv, u fokking dense m8.

>car has a small coolant leak and a possible oil leak, car doesn't have an oil light only a CEL
>Only have 5 gears, 5th gear at 65 is maybe 3500RPM
>CEL comes on as I'm on the highway
>Coolant temp and oil pressure are normal
>Oh fug
>Get off highway and pull into gas station to let the car cool off and buy oil if I was actually running low
>Both are almost completely full
>CEL on for a different reason

>t. retard

Check your MAF sensor. Might be dirty.
Does it idle fine? Any hesitation?

>use back road to work that has a 2% grade instead of being flat like the interstate
>temperature gauge goes up
>doesn't do it on 4% grade on the hill before my street

>drive around corner much faster than normal
>ASR Disabled light flashes on

>tap brakes hard to avoid short stopping retard
>oil level light comes on

>check engine light is on
>hit speed bump
>it shuts off
>this was two years ago

>stop for gas
>full tank
>start car
>CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON

>start car
>reverse to get out of driveway
>front coil spring blows out
>takes out the tire sidewall with it

This happened to me three weeks ago. Fucking BMW

>driving down hwy and accelerates 5 over limit
>loud squealing sound
>think it's the belt slipping so i pull over
>compressor is fucked instead

>ah yes taking a wet corner fast is much safer in a RWD car
it might not be safer but it definitely is way more fun

Not the guy you were replying to but, my mustang is much better going hot into wet corners than my focus.

>fix problems with car
>start to think everything is a-okay now and I can finally relax
>few days later more noises and lights emerge
>rinse wash repeat

fuck cars

My car has no cap

>turn on headlights
>they dont pop-up

>stop at a grocery store for five fucking minutes to buy some milk
>some white trash piece of shit uses your car as the local pick and pull

literally what could they manage to do in 5 minutes

>take corner too quickly
>CEL comes on
>cylinder misfire
>broke coil pack from cornering

>take fast corner
>tyre pressure and abs lights come on
>pressures are fine
>lights go out on restart

oh shit I hate this, specially when my wife's family is on the car it happens all the time

Shitty car or fat in-laws?

>driving through the twisties
>ringing my revs out so I get crackles and pops
>battery and seat belt light turn on

>Turn stereo on
>Low oil light comes on
>Pull over and check oil, only barely below normal
>Turn stereo on again
>Low oil light comes on again
Fucks sake GM

>emergency brake on highway
>accidentally press the ESP button instead of hazards
>giant orange triangle comes on
>start skidding
>seatbelt light comes on
>car now shakes when going above 120km/h

Thankfully it's gonna be dumped soon

...

Nothing major, just fucking obnoxious.

>WOT on the highway
>Check engine light starts flashing
>Read codes
>misfire on cylinder 1
>never does it again
What the fuck happened

>have eternal ABS CEL
>open up ABS motor relay
>take out fuses and inspect all of them
>that's weird lol none of them are blown
>close back up fuse box
>no more CEL

>Brakes squeal
>service
>still squeal
>new pads
>still squeal
>service all four corners

>Still squeal
When will this fucking madness end

> Drive big-ass front-loader
> Drive up a pile of product at about 45 degrees elevation with full throttle
> Oil light comes on
> Loader goes into limp mode until turned off and on again

Goddammit Volvo

Prob a fuckered caliper

>turn car on
>misfire for 5 sercondsf
>misfire goes away

wtf, scared i'll have to replace a cat converter soon. i,ve put fresh oem plugs, new ignition coils, now what? i have to run premium in me car

>car makes horrible grinding noise when turning at lower speeds, and vibration from the rear
>deducted that it can't be a CV or bearing
>put wheels back on
>sound is now gone
>vibration still there
>ignore it and just drive to work the next day to see if anything changes
>loud and feelable *CLUNK* from the rear as I turn off the mainroad and onto the gravel
>vibration from the rear is now completely gone

Did you perhaps not put shims/brake grease on the back of the pads?

Could also be a good idea to properly clean the inside of the rotor/drum on the rear to get rid of the dust and such, as that is usually what causes squealing in drums/rotor internals

Yes, I have
pls no

Topkek why do they not have airgapped infotainment

turn off lights
>open door
>BEEP BEEP BEEP
>desperately trying to find source
>close door
>flick lights on again, then off
>open door to silence

>car turns over for a good 4 seconds before starting
>replace ignition coils to fix the issue
>it gets worse

>just bought used car, A/C compressor doesn't turn on
>Obviously there's a leak in the system
>Attach gauges, system is pressurized
>Pressure sensor must be bad, so I jump the connector for a minute and the A/C works
>New sensor in the mail, but I turn on the system after driving home from work
>Compressor kicks on and the system works

How about the spark plugs?

friend had the same issue on his R32 except it persisted. He changed his coilpack and it fixed it kek

you don't NEED a catalytic converter

>Turn engine off.
>Battery light turns on and flickers off.

wat

>steering wheel vibrates at highway speeds, but no other indications of suspension or tire problems
Just fuck me up, I'm gonna be chasing this gremlin a long time

>Sister has 2003 Camry.
>AC compressor isn't kicking on, AC light is flashing.
>She says it needs recharge.
>D O U B T
>Swap horn relay with AC clutch relay.
>AC works.
>Order new relay for $8

Depends where you live.

If it is fuel injected one try the coolant temperature sensor.
Sorry if I am wrong.

gasoline will evaporate with no cap

I get a CEL for my dying cat converter every now and then, it's probably nothing if the engine runs fine

>car starts running rough
>a stream of gasoline coming out the exhaust
>think it must be a misfire
>plug in code reader
>nothing

OC
>Forester with 300,000 on it
>No service records
>Loud metallic noise when over 3500rpm
>shifting at 6000rpm every gear constantly
>Pull dipstick out to find milkshake
>Car is leaking/burning oil and coolant
>Pour hundreds of $ worth of coolant and oil to keep it running for 7 months
>Engine eventually seizes at a red light on a busy road

Are... Are you fucking your car user?

Find a friend with a balancing machine, maybe you lost a weight

Jesus christ man have you ever heard of a head gasket

Wheel balance, warped rotors
Top off your oil you mongoloid
Use antiseize on the back of your pads and shims, also put moly grease on the slide pins if it wasn't included with the pads.
Mine did that on cylinder 4 multiple times except it wasn't actually misfiring, putting a grounding kit on it fixed it.
Calipers are easy af to change bro, just takes a little longer to bleed than normal

I was a poor teenager.
Now I am a slightly less poor 19 year old with a slightly newer forester that I am treating nicer.
Happy?

I'm even poorer and I drive a 1987 Citroën AX
Such is life in Serbia.

>Calipers are easy af to change bro, just takes a little longer to bleed than normal
thats not my concern, no one in my city has parts for my car

>front main seal drips oil a little
>previous owner said "yeah i've DD'd it for a year like that, just add 1/4th of a quart at the end of the month you'll be fine
>proceed to do that for another year and a half
>also during that year and a half did 3 track days and an autocross event
>checking car after said autocross event
>"drip" is now a straight up massive leak
>mfw

No, but she fucks me at every given opportunity. Left me limping to work this morning... the rear diff went ka-boom and I had to drive 8 miles in 4hi but only driving the front wheels.

Also she recently began leaking fuel from the line somewhere so I lose fuel pressure on the highway.

New Ferds have no cap. Just a flappy seal-y thing.

>driving down dark back road
>turn on headlights
>they pop up, lights come on for a second
>"pop"
>engine dies, all lights and electrical go out

My DME blew. Fucking Porsche.

>go into 4wd low
>KLUNK

>drive around corner faster than normal
>tires squeel

I want this to be real

>start car, start to drive away
>truck unlocks itself
>have to pull over to close it
>stays closed until I shut the car off
>this happens every single time I drive it anywhere
>have to manually open and close the trunk every single time I start the car to combat this bullshit

I loved that Saab, but goddamn were its electronics fucked up

>wash car
>instantly dirty again

>turn right in mildly rainy conditions
>wheel throws water directly onto serp belt and power steering goes awol

>fuel filler neck has a carbon filter that is slowly disintegrating and clogging the lines to my fuel tank
>engine throws a code because the carbon clogged up a sensor or some shit
>code causes the car to fail emissions testing, even though it doesn't have anything to do with emissions
>clean out sensor, code clears
>get a retest, pass
>a week later the code comes back
Still passed tho

>Pulling up to red light
>Downshift a little earlier than usual (t. sport mode grand prix)
>Tachometer shows 200rpm less than normal at idle and usual shift points

>shifts into D while already moving forward
What did he mean by this

>6000rpm redline
>4cyl gas engine
>no tach, but can always tell when I'm approaching redline by that weird whistling noise that only happens above ~5000rpm

>no tailpipe smoke
>barely any leaks
>still lose roughly half a quart per month

This is my Corolla, straight out of the factory it has liked spending oil.

>Hit a speed bump a little faster than usual
>a fuse blows

Kind of experiencing this.
>miata leaks a shitload of BROWN out of the water pump gasket and two coolant hoses
>radiator is dry
>top it off so I can relocate it
>leak has almost slowed to a stop

End me.

>stock suspension
>drive with three people in the back seat
>every little bump makes the back tires rub

>driving around one day when entire gauge cluster minus the fuel and oil pressure just randomly stop working
>few days later, hit one of those drainage culverts they put in the road going way too fast because lol didnt see it
>go airborne
>left leaf spring now makes an audible crunch whenever I hit an incline at an angle
>gauges all work again though

>driving around when suddenly jeep just starts running like dogshit out of nowhere. won't idle correctly, stalls out, bucks and jumps around.
>narrow problem down to faulty o2 sensor
>replace sensor, problem goes away
>except now the stereo doesn't work anymore
>I never touched the stereo, but OK whatever.

>drivers side headlight burns out. whatever, they're old anyway
>get shiny new ebay replacements with fancy halos in them, get them all wired in and installed. look cool as shit
>next day water pump shits itself

>get water pump replaced
>two days later get torrential fucking rainstorm.
>water somehow gets INSIDE the headlight housing
>it still hasn't dried out. I don't think it will.

>finish basically rebuilding the sound system since basically all the speakers were blown. new amp, sub, new speakers all around. had to rewire passenger door. might rewire whole thing for shits n giggles.
>finish up, walk around front of jeep
>slip on something and eat massive shit (I'm talking full on ass-over-teakettle). wrist still aches a little
>turns out its been pissing out oil from the filter housing for the past day or so and I only noticed it because I parked further back in the garage than usual.

I have a feeling this thing is going to nickel and dime me to death, but I don't really mind because so far its all been minor, simple shit. and it gives me an excuse to work on it, I guess.

its also almost completely rust free and a two door, so there's that.

He was shifting into drift mode

Change fuel injectors
