/wtg/ War Thunder General
g.50 freccia - arrow
c.200 saetta - arrow / flash of lightning
c.202 folgore - thunderbolt
c.r.42 falco - hawk/falcon
s.m.79 sparviero - sparrowhawk/hawk
those guys who invent the names for military aircraft really have no imagination, they always name aircraft after lightnings, hawks, arrows etc
the only original italian names it's c.205 veltro (greyhound) and g.55 centauro, lince (lynx) is kind of pop too, iirc there was a german tank and then a british helicopter named liek that and right now it's an american reconnaissance vehicle and a proposed spaceplane, z.1007bis alcione (kingfisher) is a namesake of os2u kingfisher, br.20 cicogna (stork) is a namesake of fi 156 storch etc
What do you expect, a P-57 Platypus? Flying Sloth? Lawnmower?
They name planes after manly cool stuff, you wouldn't get it because you're a fucking faggot
>2 bursts of eight 12.7s
>A total of 16 individual rounds spread out throughout my aircraft and not concentrated on any particular spots
>Get blown up with both wings being severed
>Not even in a jap plane
Ah, okay then
Sure am loving the the damage model nerfs!
>There are people in tanks using CAS planes and dying to one 12.7
...
We need a brit version of it with smoke dischargers and the squeezebore. They were the only ones to use it.
Egyptian sandniggers don't count.
mustang, hellcat, black widow are good names btw
KITTYHAWK
KITTIES!!! NYA NYAA~ :3
i dunno how lightning/thunderbalt is manly when they have no genitalia and as for hawks and falcons roughly half of them are feminine entities
