of all the base model shitboxes it is by far the sportiest

>driving home today
>stuck behind slow car
>passing zone, no oncoming traffic
>downshift, gas it
>engine shudders and makes noise
>acceleration is negligible
>upshift, accept fate

Such is life in the 2.2 Sonoma

I drive a california spitfire 1500. Had less than 60hp from the factory, probably has like 30-40 by now. It takes like 40 seconds to get to 60.

I like my sillycar, I just dislike the fact there not much aftermarket for the 5SFE to tinker with and cannot really justify a 3SGTE swap

What gen? Theres a great website with tips about how to push more power out of the gen 2 420a without turboing. I think the most you can get is like 180ish hp but that requires basically rebuilding the block
