Tesla Semi

wtf does someone sit in bottom like this

>well EVs have maintenance, and being on-time down pat

thats not true because there are not electric semi's yet. go hang out in the trucker fag thread. there is a huge logistical network thats in place to support current trucks that is non existent for any theoretical EV's. and as one user already pointed out, even if you could fully automate the actual driving portion of trucking you still need a human there for the mountains of other bullshit it takes to get a load delivered on time.

according to tesla they have buyers lined up already. Lots from the major trucking firms. It's a pretty big stretch to call it impossible imo. It'll work for some section of the trucking market, definitely not all though

>just crush me to death

12 hour shifts are illegal though

crushed by what exactly?

jesus christ elon, way to twist up facts. let's start with the 200k number. First of all, where did you get that from? Second of all in ten years, 200000 cars is all this brilliant company has produced, ten years, thats twenty thousand cars pery year. which is laughable.
> You can't expect them to pop out 500k cars overnight

They've had ten fucking years, who said anything about over night, were this not a company backed up by monopoly money it would have died five years ago. Plus, they make no money from the cars themselves, secondly, your 500k pre orders don't mean jack shit if you can't deliver the product, and the orders are non binding.

Trucker here.

Cummins beat Tesla. Cry more shills.

the giant hanging mass 12" over your head

when a semi driver overestimates the height of a bridge/overpass, his cab usually goes under and the trailer gets jammed/crushed

in that thing, YOU get crushed

i thought it needed mirrors
