In California nearly everyone puts "AC blows cold." I've purchased a number of cars with that in the listing that had relatively few to no problems.

Up here it usually goes like.
>transmission slips
>engine has a knock
>rusty frame and rockers
>heat doesn't work
>mismatched body panels
>needs new tires, brakes and windshield
>AC BLOWS COLD THOUGH

Don't forget

>title status: missing

>ran when parked

Has to be some kind of joke. Who just parks a running car and never uses it?

>Cheap fix, only a $40 part that I already have

Even better when it's a $10 part that they have and it takes 10 mins to instal

Sold my car with a couple of red flags, but I made the description tl;dr instead of just being brief

>AC works well and doesn't need recharging
I made sure not to use "ICE COLD"
>driver's side window stopped working recently. based on how it failed, it's likely the regulator
When the buyer had his mechanic check it, the mechanic's best guess was the regulator too

>Who just parks a running car and never uses it?
My in-laws

My wife's first vehicle was a 1996 Blazer she got from her parents. It had been driven maybe 3 times in 10 years until she got it

>been in an accident but was PROFESSIONALLY FIXED
>NO FRAME DAMAGE
I've come close to buying cars like these...the price difference is a steal.

Just because you're poor doesn't mean the rest of the world is, plenty of people have more than one car and for one reason or another end up not driving one of them

Something non-running gear related happens and they can't afford to fix it.

>non standard alloys
>anything lowered
>only one key
>a recorded owner nearly every 2 years

>dealer does the test drive
>only drives 1/4 mile

>woman driven
>lady driven
>grandma's car

A 96 blazer in mint condition is like finding a unicorn.

Woah now. Granny's car is a good thing.
I saw a '13 yaris with less than 10k miles on it for some ridiculously low sum of money the other day.
I live in FL AC blows cold is actually a necessity here.

>the wife says it's got to go

I'll never buy a car from a fucking cuck.

>title status: clean
>car has clearly been in several unreported accidents

>title status: salvage
>asking price of a clean title example

I started browsing Craigslist to have something to post in this thread, and the first page has a post for a "2004 Toyota Tacoma".
It only has 1 picture, and it's a vacuum.

Red flag: has 940,000 miles.

Forgot I had the listing bookmarked.

This is incredible

when you find a field mouse run out of the engine

>Has to be some kind of joke. Who just parks a running car and never uses it?
Boomers?

Kek.

But that's the best kind. She makes him sell it cheap too and he probably looks the same kind of defeated when you slip into his car when Tyrone slides into his wife

>>ran when parked
>
>Has to be some kind of joke
I dont get this either
Ive seen so many classic cars with "ran when parked 20 years ago" on them
is this a joke? am i supposed to be a bit reassured that it was indeed running 20 fucking years ago?
>hey nothing works but it did work when i got it!
wow thanks
Dont beat around the bush just say "hasnt been used since the 90's" dont sugarcoat the stupidest shit

>@@@***very clean ! ! ! ***@@@ LOOK !! LOOK!!
>not my picture car looks just like it though
>left car bra on for photo
>mint condition, selling as is, no tradesies backsies

It was not in mint condition lol

Dude, no. Buy that. If it went that far, it clearly has no intentions of stopping.

I can kinda see the use of it.
If it ran 20 years ago, at least the engine wasn't severely fucked like threw a rod or something. But if it was 20 years ago it's probably fucked by now.

>absolutelynospacesinthetitlegreatdeal$20000

>selling it before reaching a million

sad

Why do so many craigslist posters blur out the plate number and go dead silent when asked for a VIN?

something along the lines of being worried about you stealing the car or something.
