Mass Effect General - /meg/

I'd say Arrival. It has you going solo to take down a Mass Relay the Reapers are using. You manage to destroy it and post-pone the Reaper Invasion by a year or something I think, but at the cost of 150,000 Batarians. Because you blew up the Relay and the entire star system got fried in the explosion. This is why you are under arrest in number three, you're being charged with terrorism and a million other crimes that could get you locked up for life.

I do love Cora's suit (and the Heleus armour), but I do miss the latex casual suits.

>but at the cost of 150,000 Batarians

It's actually 300 000.

>Arrival
This is the only one you should consider getting if you have to play the DLC. It carries the most relevance over to ME3 and to the overall plot. It's a meh experience for me but if you're thirsty for extra content it'll work in a pinch.

>Lair of the Shadow Broker
This is pretty much Liara: The DLC. If you really liked Liara you should consider this one. Otherwise skip it. Not a lot of relevance to ME3's main plot other than Liara's backstory. It does flesh out some of the other squadmates, but you can find most of that info on the wiki, so once again not really worth it.

>kill thousands of Batarians so the Reapers wouldn't enter the galaxy and give time for people to prepare
>Reapers still arrive by surprise and no one is properly prepared
At most I think the delay might've just bought for time for the Initiative to escape

It bought time for the Crucible to be found. If you don't stop the Reapers from using the relay, you get a short cutscene showing the Reapers winning and a game over screen.
