A bad rod, depending on what happened, means you'll at least be pulling one piston. But it's probably not a best case scenario and it would likely be better just to shotgun an engine at it. The thing's a shiny boat anchor, pretty much.

Spun rod bearing? New crank, at least one new rod, new bearings for the whole engine to be on the safe side- Broken rod? Like snapped in half? Engine is junk and it would be cheaper getting a completely new takeout engine than trying to fix that one.

Its not even a sports-design, it a base model with the front grill swapped. Aftermarket entry/starter usually fucks with the factory electrics, pray nothing goes wrong or you're be spending hours trying to untangle it from the car. No engine shots, or maintenance notes (is this a small-time dealer?). Clean interior, the guy really went to town with the leather polish.

Milk it down to 4K.

Supercharged 4.6l 4 valve from an early 2000s Cobra.

They had one of those really early dual-clutch esque transmission. They keep saying "its a manual" and mechanically its a regular clutch standard transmission but instead of having your foot operate the clutch, the clutch is electrohydaulically operated via a pump and wired to computer. Its literally sportshift/triptronic only you cant just leave it in drive you have to constantly push around the shifter to get anywhere.
