Thats not a real complaint.
Americans are just obese.
Its why the ford fiesta is said to be a car too small for anyone in the backseat, even though three adults can fit in it perfectly fine as long as they are of a healthy weight.
The "normal" sized cars in america like the focus are so obscenely large, you could make the front row a bench seat and fit six people.
The problem with the Toyobaru is that its really slow for what it is.

meanwhile the ND miata weighs the same as an NA miata.
