put synth oil in, that will move the needle back to center

>allow time for proper cooling after a hard run like that.
That is kind of a issue, since it does not have a cooling fan and therefore gets pretty hot in idle.
Sometimes I shut down the engine on a slope before ariving at home to allow for some cooling.
if your oil is milky when you change it then your coolant is going in there
this.
my fucking engine is a 1nz-fe and the radiator is probably fit to cool a v6.
Toyota seems to do things like that the right way, 1KR-FE here.
>engine at perfect temperature
>after redlining it for 2 hours straight on the Autobahn
>1KR-FE here
small engine, but knowing small Toyota engines, that thing probably hauls some ass. I would LOVE to take my car down the autobahn.
Well, it does 110 burger units per hour+ and has a gear longer than that.
Accelleration in 1st gear is decent, constant wheelspinn to 50 km/h
>Happened in my base model fiesta about a week after I had bought it
>Turn onto rural side street and rip 1st-2nd
>Cruise after that in 5th
>1min later all lights on dash come on, battery, water temp, service engine comes up on screen
>shut car off when i notice the digital gauge is pinned to max
>coast into empty parking lot
>freaking out pop hood, steaming, look in to see what went wrong, accessory belt broke off
>call insurance to get a tow, figure no stores can sell me a belt at 1am
>belt ends up costing 90 burgerbucks bc no autoparts stores can even order it, have to get it from dealer
Car still runs fine to this day, hopefully i didnt shorten its lifespan too much
>throw a few liters in the rad with hose.
>start car again and pray
I hate to be the one who tells you this, but your block is cracked now.
