When talking to my dad his friend that owned the 550 said it was restricted to the point it would over heat and break down. The turn off was he had to spend more money to make it even work properly. But the other guy is right the overheating fucked the bike over in many ways I believe.

Most of the issues came from lubrication system which was fixed in I think 2008.
The ones after that weren't bad, but it's still a race bike so you'd be insane to DD it.

It was the 450 I think they fixed and rolled out for 2009.
