Be amerifag
cool story, bro
you should blog it
Is there a point to your thread or are you just being an insufferable cunt for your own amusement?
>rubbing your nipples over your transmission system
ok
I have a forester xt and im thinking about trading it to get a sti hatch. is it worth it?
Why do amerimutts act like driving a manual is such a big deal and that they're senna tier drivers because of it
It didn't used to be this way. Standard transmissions used to be common and often preferred for lower cost and better MPGs.
They've gotten to be just plain uncommon except for models where enough people might be interested to buy a manual for the sake of it being a manual to justify the extra costs to the manufacturer of offering a manual option.
Because now only sports cars come in manual, and not even all of those have one.
did she have a real mini or that BMW abomination I own as well?
good boy
manual all the way, unless your an amputee theres no excuse for autotragics
Hmmmmm......................
Did you get this car in Tennessee with roughly 115k on it from a used car dealer?
Nah just put some more money into the Forester.
Those XTs can be just as fast in a straight line and almost as fast around turns. If you don't have them already, get a down pipe, uppipe, intake, and a stage 2 tune. It really wakes these cars up. Then go for wheels and tires, and finally work in that suspension whether it's coilovers or springs or swaybars.
What gen is your xt?
Anybody who drives an automatic shouldn't even be allowed to drive. Take the bus or train.
do you live in city or have to drive in cities daily? automatic
do you live in bumfuckistan and go to cities couple times a month? who the fuck cares what you drive
I'd still rather have the standard transmission in the city. It makes traffic less boring and it's more nimble for darting around.
>Americans call manual standard
>even when it's not standard in their country
???
To be fair, I also call imperial measurements "standard."
the second one.
I have three manuals, and driving them in traffic/on the beltway/around town when I'm hungover was just so much work. Like, I respect the driving experience, but sometimes I just wanna be a piece of trash and get somewhere with a minimum of effort. Bought a 4th car (auto) and it's been so goddamn nice for this winter. It's probably been 9 years since I had one and I love it.
Not every drive is for the sport of it, sometimes you gotta drag your fat ass to pick up a pizza and some Excedrin.
>I drink and do drugs
>wahh why are things so hard for me to do :(
Kill yourself
Must have been shitty cars, then. Even with a hangover, I am one with the car.
If I'm too messed up for that I'm too messed up for driving and it's time to decide whether to eat out of cans or cook something so elaborate that I'd never consider spending that much effort sober.
>car enthusiast
>audi a4
These two things are incompatible
