Watching do you guys think about engine swaps into old Italian sportscars/supercars? Been wanting to restomod a detomaso pantera. I'm familiar with lsxs and wouldn't feel bad considering it was powered by an old ford anyway.

What's the legality of engine swaps when it comes to declaring the mileage on the odometer? Or does it really not matter if I'm not looking to resell the car?
