most half tonne trucks, like the f150, chevy/gmc 1500 and ram 1500's have around 2000lbs of payload capacity without adding stuff to the suspension, thats why you see more 3/4 tonne, 1 tonne, class 4 and class 5 trucks as service trucks because of the payload capacity.
