Rev hang is the easiest thing to fix on these engines. Rev hang is a far bigger issue on economy engines that have no aftermarket support.

I like the car, basically the only new car I'd buy but yeah. There are problems.

>bad tune
>not high revving
>over priced for the interior design
>not a hatchback or wagon
It's a missed opportunity, honestly, though, it's cheaper and more fun to STi swap a 3rd gen outback.
The fact that the basic design hasn't changed in 20 years is actually a good idea IMO no need to reinvent the wheel.
