What is exactly the point of backseats in sports cars...

This is a sad reality, I can still remember when I saw alot of 80s trash still on the road.

>Early 90s econoboxes are extinct already
I have two 1994 Proteges still. One good one, and one not so good one.

I drive a 92 Camry. There's what seems like 5 of them left in the country on the roads. At least that's the number I count on average during an entire year. All went to export.

>Seems like waste of space and weight. Why not just put big trunk in place of it like in corvette and fairlady?

Insurance rates mostly, to a lesser extent to appeal to as wide an audience as possible. However its mostly insurance. A 2 seater is much much more expensive to insure than a 4 seater

We really need ID’s on Veeky Forums

>Sports cars don't have back seats
Honda Insight?

This. I just quoted a '18 Camaro ZL1 and an 18' Corvette Stingray with a purchase price of 70k. The Camaro would cost me 247 a month for full coverage, the Corvette would cost me 372 a month for full coverage.

That despite the ZL1 would wipe the floor with the Stingray

Front wheel drive: not a sports car

BTW I live in downtown Chicago, I am 32 years old, and the quotes were through the Geico app (who insures my '17 Ford Focus Titanium)
