Some of them aren't bad but the Deathsmiles girls blow them out of the water in every regard except attention given by CAVE.
Come to think of it, by now there's about 15 main girls for Mahou Otome. And they keep getting worse. I've actually warmed up to the 5 maidens more after seeing those that were introduced after them. I only like a couple of the 5 demons, and none of the 5 academy girls seem worth the time of day for me. Admittedly part of that may just be salt over the fact that it further lessens Deathsmiles's chances of getting attention, but I honestly feel like the 5 academy girls look really plain and generic.

It's great. I have noticeably reduced input lag and contrast is amazing, pretty much OLED tier. Though my point of reference are very cheap consumer LCDs. I say go for it, CRTs are are super cheap if not free, just be prepared for how much space they need. (I wasn't)

I guess he means the boss you just game overed at. This weird wave attack pattern, where the bullets seemingly appear out of nowhere and move like a wave. It#s a quite unique pattern, but looks not really fun to dodge.

They change direction at predictable intervals, you can kinda trace out where they're going to end up based on where they've been. It gets not fun when you need to dodge 2 or 3 groups of them at the same time

I should probably stream more, especially 'cuz I said I would during October, but my practice sessions are so repetitive and erratic that I'm not sure if it's worth streaming. Right now my focus (in Deathsmiles) is on establishing some amount of consistency in Canyon and Hades Castle with max Death Mode which is what I've been working on forever, which means practice sessions are just grinding out those stages over and over and over again. Some days I go at it and wind up just not feeling it, and call it quits after 15 minutes. Some days I might play for an hour or two straight on a single stage and not seem to make much of any progress. It doesn't seem like it'd be that fun to watch.
