I think the worst default belts are the Jap ones that are mostly FI-T, or MG/FF default belts. Honestly default belts being as shitty as they are on most planes is artificial difficulty designed to make you grind out belt modifications.

For one, don't use 37mm AAA. It's useless. Russian AA is mostly pretty bad, too.

It's not that it should be, it's that 37mm AA is useless. I have shot planes right in the engine/cockpit with the ZSU's HE shells and only gotten hits. When it comes to AA, you are meant to use whatever has the highest volume of fire to make up for Gaijin's weird damage models.

yeah it's pretty sad when you compare what other nations get as tier 4 prem. even worse because it's made of cardboard even though it's a "heavy" fighter. MG 151s shred them with just a short burst. I killed 5 in one game in my G.56 and I still had more than half my ammo. I feel bad for people who dropped 30 coins on this.
Maybe it will be more playable when there's only one in the middle of a team of spitfires.
