Why is Socialism a dirty word?

Clickbait

>implying BLM isn't a terrorist organization

Yes almost like a nationalistic variant on the otherwise internationalist bent of communist style socialism.

>most states that have come close to socialism have had some pretty epic millions-of-people-dead failures
The only cases I can remember off the top of my head where Marxism-Leninism or some form of socialism killed millions are Mao's China, the Soviet Union, or Ethiopia from 1974-87.
>only go to is Cuba's medical care
Au contraire. Ask a Marxist-Leninist what their ideology has accomplished, and they'll mention large scale and rapid economic development, the virtual elimination of unemployment, and noticeably increases in living standards, life expectancy, literacy, and other critical indicators. Ask a less authoritarian Marxist-Leninist what their ideology has done, and they'll mention rapid increases in living standards and critical indicators, the extension of true democracy and defeat of imperialism, and defeat of regimes that had horrible human rights records.

What the fuck is this board? OP spouts blatant communist lies about 'Cuban medical care' and everybody just goes with it. Who cares about facts, let's discuss philosophical matters with a guy who believes propaganda!

Friendly reminder that Cuba has cholera epidemic every year and their brilliant doctors killed Hugo fucking Chavez.

>defeat of regimes that had horrible human rights records.
