Shut the fuck up, I've been browsing this board for 4 years and it's still one of the richest and most interesting board cultures.
Veeky Forums is currently my main board. /a/ was my main for like 6 or 7 years, but now I pretty much exclusively lurk Veeky Forums.
even though there are lots of insecure manchildren here who are pretty dumb. I think that its still the best place to go ask for food science. Because of the format of the chans, there are some occasional food buffs who come in here. With better sources and insight than Veeky Forums. This board is also pretty much the only reason why I still use 8/2 chan, no other boards like this out there. So while the users may be average to low, the format is still ten times superior to namefag forums.

Veeky Forums is my main b̶o̶a̶r̶d̶ bored, yeah the threads are the exact same everyday, but a lot of time there's always one or two interesting threads where you can learn something new or give advice to someone who really needs it, so I like Veeky Forums. Yeah it's not exactly an entertainment board but I like it. Also Veeky Forums helped me drop 110lbs, so there's that.
After a long time on Veeky Forums, you learn to know which threads are gonna be filled with the boring memes and which ones will have the dank memes.
And feels/gym stories/girls/tinder threads are always pretty good.

Veeky Forums used to be the only board i came to at all and thought it was funny as fuck (still is sometimes) and that was all good, it was new and fresh and intriguing.
now i've been to /tv/ which is hilarious, /v/ because i like gaming sometimes and /pol/ when there's a big disaster or whatever. All of those boards are fast paced as fuck and its refreshing, they also obviously have a lot more to discuss (new films, new shows, new games, new political situations etc.) whereas what does Veeky Forums have ? made up miring stories (some true) PLG is fucking shittiest little "muh secret club of fatties" Fraud is pure cancer and pedo posting, fattie stories is still kind of funny, cbt are good IF people discuss their routine diets and how they got there if they dont then its pretty much just faggy as fuck and routine discussion threads are pointless and dead, they are pretty much console wars of Veeky Forums SS IS BETTER THAN SL etc.
Veeky Forums is pretty much dead at this point, every time i try to start a thread that isn't a ' X general" It takes about 2 hours to get 20 to 30 replies, yawn, i just dont have time for it anymore.
Now i just enjoy actually lifting, rather than arguing about what and how to lift.
