What helped me was planning out exactly what time (evenly spaced throughout the day) I would eat each meal. Five 600 calorie meals spread evenly through the day is easy for me, a recovering skelly to put down.

Just eat high calorie food. E. G. Meat with fat is around 200 cal per 100g so you can easily get 1000 cal with a single meal.

Eat nuts as snack and you have here around 600 cal per 100 g. It's not very hard
