Post em'

This is me
6'3
165 to 215lbs in under a year

Looking good brah. What are your lifts? And what routine?

Nice progress, man. My weightprogress was almost identical, although it took me longer.
163 to about 210.

264 lbs., now.

your abs look photoshopped

Impressive as fuck.

I'll take that as a compliment, but what makes you say that?

Dat lighting

they look too big for your frame

im not saying they look bad

Eh, you might have a point there. I doubt I have 6-pack genetics, but I've always liked how big and square they are.

>phone was wiped
>had about 8 months of progress pictures
>never backed them up
fug

Left- 240lbs 5'9"
Right- 187lbs still 5'9"
Took about three years

Oh this gives me hope. I look a little like your left pic. 260 lbs 5'10" now.

I've been easing into my new lifestyle over the past month. The past two weeks I've stayed under 1500 cal every day except my one cheat day per week. I'm finally getting up to the point where my legs can handle running for almost half an hour.

What was your routine like for the first couple months?

holy fuck is this real life?

Those calories seem pretty low but if you're that fat and Antony worried about losing muscle I guess it doesn't matter. When I first started I didn't know much so I did a bro split and walked on the treadmill with the incline all the way up for an hour every night. I would suggest you either do full body 3 times a week or upper lower 4 times a week (that's what I do now). I still suggest the treadmill though. Also make sure you lift heavy when you work out.

What was your diet like and how much did you lose/what did you look like after the first year?

I don't really care too much about muscle loss but my goal is to get down to skinnyfat mode or close to that within a year. I just want to look ok with clothes on to start. Then maybe I'll start worrying about aesthetics and doing some real lifting.

what does wiped mean

it could be recoverable but it depends on what you mean by wiped

try recuva

Had to dig this picture up, found it in an old file. It was after about a year of strict diet and lifting heavy. You can see the loose skin on my chest was worse back then.

For diet like I said I really didn't know what I was doing. I ate like a bro. My dorm had grilled chicken breast and steamed veggies and I ate that almost every day. I would guess I ate around 2000-2300 calories a day.

This is not me, thought it was fucking hilarious.

The Reddit progress pictures are almost always hilarious

Insane progress for a year.

Any other tips or things to help you stay motivated?

I'm already married so I'm not lifting to get grils or anything. I just want to feel comfortable and healthy and not embarrassed to look at myself in the mirror.

ive posted this pic before, will post most recent decent picture in a second.
5'11, went from 278 down to 162. now im up to 172, 180 and lean is my goal

aaand this was a couple weeks ago. desu I eat like a bro, chicken, sweet potatoes, lots of oatmeal and yogurt. it works i guess

How long and what was your routine/diet?

Good, if you're lifting for girls you wouldn't have made it anyway. Progress is always the best motivator. Keep track of your weight and how you look.

Make sure that you never tell yourself that you "deserve" to cheat. I'm not saying that you can't have cheat meals or can't eat cookies, but once you get into that justification mentality it's hard to get out of.

Also you probably won't make progress as fast as me since I'm guessing you're a little old and pretty sedintary. But don't let that unmotivate you. In the great words of Common "slow motion is better than no motion"

about a year and a half, probably a little less, my brain is a little fired from exams right now. basically first 6 months were 3rd reich teir calories (do not do this) and running 3-4 miles per day. Then I figured out the skellington life was not for me so I started eating carbs again and doing bro splits. I lift, pretty much eery day, typical bro splits.

6ft - 230 lbs >>> 175 lbs. Took about a year and a half, although I've only been lifting for 4 months. If I would of started lifting earlier I would look better, but pretty pleased so far.

OSM broski

are you sucking your stomach in? proportions look way off

How does it feel to have lose all that weight? How people treat you now that you aren't a fat fuck?

...

no, my waist is 28.5 inches and dropping, just a small midsection

more respect from men, more pussy from women- what you'd expect really

That's me and honestly it's weird. People do respect you more right when you meet them. It's not like girls come up and start hitting on me just because I have muscles now though. Honestly the biggest difference I've found is that when I'm walking in between classes girls make eye contact. That never happened before. It's like I was invisible. It's not like your entire life changes because you lose weight, but it is kinda nice being visible.

Me, first post on fit
At my heaviest i was 238
Currently at 185
>Pic from 238 to 185

Trying to make it

Yeah I have a question. Why is his "after" picture on the left?

fucking this i hate this

Teach me your ways, senpai.

I started losing weight in august but I didnt start lifting until October. Im once again trying lose some of the fat so I can finally see my abs and then im going to try and to do a lean bulk.

I would definitely not cut, you're getting close to skelly, I'd start the lean bulk now

your nipples are falling off your chest

you know what they say about abs on a skinny guy

I got exactly one more month until the anime convention that I have been trying to get lean for so I was planning to bulk after that. Ultimate goal is to cosplay kars from jojo but that wont be for another year or two.

Still better than having gyno

I just want to accomplished for once though.

god bless the man who invented compression clothing

height?

6ft0

keep working on it mang ur gonna make it

don't fall for the abs meme. i was skinny and cut to abs, lean bulked and lost them quickly. guys with skinnyfat genetics like you and i shouldn't bother with abs right away, gotta get some size first. abs will be easier to maintain then due to being overall bigger with a higher tdee and actual definition to legitimise the abs

ur arm, in the bottom right photo, LOLOLOLOL

I am back to 215 nowadays

1 rm:
435 dl
305 squat
215 bench :,,(
155 ohp

Pretty solid routine. Could use some more upper body volume though. Probably why you're having trouble gaining size.

Always mired your progress, solid face gains too.

damn bitch post your routine
